It was sarcasm...and it was the first thought that went through my head when I heard he went into Gamestop.

At the time, I didn't know that those previous fires were thought to have been set by the suspect, nor do I know that he has mentall illnesses, if at that was the condition he was in.

Yes, in the ensuing days after, statements where made by different perspective about the suspect and the incident, which are not very likely to be connected to GT5 being delayed at all.

Was he charged/convicted of the fire(s) that were allegedly set by the suspect before the alleged fire at the Galleria mall?

In the future, I'll try to refrain from posting fabrications that aren't as obvious as being a false slippery slope.

Good Question! I remembered that TV news says He did set up fire at his mother's house before Galleria Mall.

Right now walmart searching to sue him as suspect for set up fire.. But did walmart recorded on him by video capture while he set up fire at superstore before Galleria Mall?

anyway I better let PS3 gamers stick on topic.. :D

Yeah GT5p was very disappointing in their network capabilities. But y'know a few years later and the main attraction is about to pop into the machine, I'm confident those issues have been ironed out. I ordered my Collector's edition back in July. My life will be very simple after November 24th.
 
Game is out today in US. I ordered a playseat a week ago and will be picking up the game today. Too bad G27's are sold out in the market at the moment.

Can't wait to try out rally racing... :)
 
G27 does look like a win in my book...will have to look into after Christmas. My stepdad has a spare racing seat from one his car so I'll just rig it up. How's the playseat and what model did you get?

Stupid Amazon is sending my Collector's Edition on Friday, but that's ok...I really should be studying.
 
Does GT5 includes arcade mode or free play?

I do know that Forza Motorsport 3 includes free play.
 
What's do you mean by free play? Like practice? Or racing just AI/friends in arcade mode?

Yes with all cars unlocked for first time player.

I know that GT4 doesn't.

I didn't see 1,000+ plus cars in the arcade mode after getting the game today. Probably have to go through the career mode to get them all. I think it's a lot of fun. My social life is over for a few months :)

Oh damn, I remember about got GT4 in 2004 and realized MANY cars are locked at first time so I used Action Replay to download the shared saves to load and unlocked all cars and tracks in arcade mode because I didn't have much time to beat GT4.

Now, I doubt that saves from GT5 will be sharable because Sony locked the saves to PSN accounts or PS3 due to trophy.

I'm ok with the rules; I'm a pure GT enthusiast...meaning I don't *need* to have every car available. I'd rather go through the journey and know the value of someone saying "I beat GT5".

I haven't played Forza and don't intend to.

Higher chance of hardware failure? No thanks....inconceivable for me.

Grew up on Gran Turismo. I love the style.

Halo does look pretty cool though.

Not true anymore if you buy a recent Xbox 360 console.
 
Hmm. I'll probably look into Halo soon. Looks like my type of game. Epic stories with lots of action and *some* drama. For now GT5 :)
 
I used to play a lot of the GT series up to GT5 Prologue. Since then i have been playing forza 3 for the 360 and i began to find it a lot more superior to the gt series.

Even though i have the ps3 id rather play forza 4 than GT5 cause Pthe physics and car customization is more realistic on forza than gt. Never heard of putting EFI in a 1915 model t ford on gt4....
 
I am grinding B-Spec for money right now. I feel like a babysitter cause my guy just wants to stay in 4th place.

I really like the go kart races.
