I can tell you this is not a joke and that the USA is No.1 as shown. That is because of accounting. While in American rape is way under-reported, we are serious enough to report as much as possible but a place, South Africa, does as much as possible to hide theirs. Here we have a system of excellent (but not perfect) data reporting...others have none or are lacking.

USA #1- CO2 Emissions?? I thought it was China being number 1.
I am not surprised about Germany being number #2- Heart Attack. I have several German relatives who have heart problems..
Blame it on bratwurst, liverwurst, butter, sausage, bread rolls, and.. beers.
I had to quit eating bratwurst and liverwurst years ago. It is not easy to gaze at liverwurst when I shop at a market.
Me, too. I found it in We're #1
but it doesn't say how they came by those figures.
This also assumes everything has been reported. I agree with rolling7. I've personally been to South Africa and in the townships, it's normal and common for women to get raped several times throughout their lives. I'm willing to bet that most of them are not reported at all.
Not everything gets reported for the U.S. statistics, either. In fact, rape is the most underreported crime in the U.S.
