Gulf residents outraged by BP CEO's yacht outing

He may be the most inexperienced President but what's amazing about this Administration is him addressing the issues that nobody wants to touch or do it.

The buck stops here. It's time to change the "same old same old" and it's time to actually fix it instead of adding more bandaid or hiding it to pass it to another Administration

Exactly. In the way he was handed a mess from a previous administration. His road would have been a lot smoother all along if the previous administration had the character and ethics to announce, "The buck stops here." and then actually carry it out.:cool2:

Agreed. :gpost:

I agree wholeheartedly. I just wish he wouldn't be so appeasing to Israel/AIPAC. He really wants to disentangle our military forces overseas but something is preventing him from doing it. Three guess as to who.
Oh well. In my defense, I took off early from work today since my pain medicines made me feel too goofy.

I got no excuse for my opinions...and I agree with you! Did I miss something? Are you injured or did you have surgery?

Same old pinched nerve. I quit the Celebrex and got some other pain pills from a friend, my bad. But don't worry, I got the MRI moved up to Monday morning instead of Tuesday, so just bear with me for now.

Rough start? sure.
Lot of mistakes along the way? sure.

Example: Bush Administration.
Issue: Our National Security was a joke. The President did not have any effective tool at his disposal. The agencies were messy.
Action Taken: Department of Homeland Security and Patriot Act.
Result: A very very rough start. Bush was called as dictator/fascist for turning America into Police State spying on American citizens with illegal wiretapping program & broad terrorism law and illegally torturing people at Gitmo Camp.
Post-Bush Administration: The Patriot Act, policy, and laws were revised but because of Bush's bold but controversial action... the future Administrations and America benefit from it.

Now you're seeing the pattern here?

Awww...glad you got the MRI moved up. Hey, the pain from a pinched nerve can be excrutiating. Can't blame anyone for doing what they need to do to get rid of it. Celebrex just can't touch something like that.

I'll bear with you until the cows come home!

I know that. I admire him as a person and I feel sorry for him. I really think he isunder the gun for many reasons. Of course I could be wrong.

Well, could it be that his inexperience is the main reason and that he is way over his head?

*shuddering* We are becoming the most militaristic country in the world, and bodes very ill indeed.

Sure, I see your pattern. But the criticism Bush received is nothing compared to what Obama has endured. The intensity and the hatred are just way over the line regarding anything else.

The Patriot Act is the only beneficial thing you can come up with that Bush left the administration? One could also question if it hadn't been for some of Bush's actions the Patriot Act might never have been necessary. It was pushed through in a climate of unreasonable fear that most Americans now see was nothing more than manipulation to justify.

Nawww, he is so cool butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. He is a negotiator par excellence. Too bad he hasn't many chances to display that.

that didn't bother American voters during Presidential election. Remember - he won by a landslide.

Maybe it's time to encourage Chris Christie to run for 2012?

We are becoming the most militaristic country in the world? Becoming...? I think that would be China's.

Fore!! And despite the consistent whiners...I see a second term in his future.

Negotiator? You're kidding me? Anybody can bow and scrape the floor, and say "I'm sorry" multiple times while backing up. Exactly what did he negotiate other than a golf course?

so cool that the President is doing the "pound hug" aka bro grab or man hug.

Christie? sure why not? Easy landslide for Obama. :cool2:

Obamacare for starter. amazing that he pulled it off that no Presidents in the past have been able to do so.
