The PhoneCaption on the Blackberry drains the battery power very fast !!!

That's exactly why Apple wants to have full control over apps in iTunes. It has to meet stringent rules so you get the best apps, not cheap inferior apps that drains your battery and hogs your CPU.

because of no credit score and I'm avoid to get credit card until I get stable job after college graduation in 5 years. There is possible of network abuse in past due 2 ETF in 2008 but att rep denied it.

My deposit was $500 in last year then I just denied the service and left, I heard about some people got good credit score to have pay $750 deposit, I was like OUCH! and what is wrong with att.

- Canadian ADers

The good news is all Rogers, Telus, Fido and Bell will release Iphone 4 at the same time next month.

In the past, Rogers tended to be given a six-months advance ahead of their competitors to release Apple Iphone. At this time they will not have this opportunity.

Now, I am not sure what to do with my Blackberry Storm since I have been stuck with my three years contract. :(

three years contract?? :jaw:

That's the norm in Canada. :-/

People would be better off paying the full price for the devices to avoid getting into a contract.

Hmmm, not understanding this, Banjo....

All three-year contracts require a voice plan. Also, the plans are overpriced.

That's what I thought.....so even if one pays full price for the device itself, there's still the 3 yr contract for the service. I just didn't get the connection between this and paying full price for the device.

If you want to buy a phone at a subsidized price, you have to enter a contract. If you wish to not enter one, you have to buy it at the full price.

Oic but why would one not wish to enter a contract for service? Cannot use the device without the service....

You don't need to buy the phone from the provider in order to use it. In fact, you can buy unlocked phones and use them with the providers if you want to.

You don't need a contract to obtain the service.
