I am lonely

It's good to hear that you are doing better! You better be careful! I thought I was a walking accident! Well at least you have soccer as an excuse...

I don't know...you might have to compete with what happened to me this morning lol...

I ironed my shirt and bent down (don't look at my a**!) to pull the cord out of the wall plug. Well, my shoulder ran into the ironing board and knocked the ironer towards my face, brushed the side of my right face and poked me in the arm. So glad I don't look like I passed out in the sun and got sun-burnt on one side:shock:. No soccer involved. At all. Some skin was melted off on my arm, but it wasn't bad.

Your turn, friend-who-turned-my-room-pink. :nana:

Well, I don't have a specific story today...My most recent injury that I am still recovering from in probably from wearing flip flops in amusement park. But I have fallen out of the shower and things like that. I am extremely clumsy. It is very common for me to be injured.

I changed my background just for you! ;)

Hey its all good. I walk around my neighborhood holding a Mt Dew can talking to it and petting it gently. I wisper to her "nobody can tantalize my tastebuds like dew can"

oh man! you poor thing!! Hope you'll feel better soon, and no more tripping!:D

TXGolfer, have you considered volunteering? It would get you involved with other people and it could be something that you enjoy. I'm teaching a GED math class this summer. My poor victims!

I volunteer tons.....I couldn't leave the house because I couldn't tolerate sunlight during the day or headlights at night after the accident. Much better now though

Glad that you're feeling better! It's so hot here right now. Hope that it's more pleasant where you are. Hot days and too much sun aren't pleasant even when you're feeling well.

Oh, i realize that now, that you just had accident a while ago. it takes more time for you to recover and will get rid of the feeling lonely eventually.

but not always. eh.

It's miserable in Dallas area.....Seems the extra snow greened things up more than usual and now it is more humid that usual. I was watching the Colonial golf tounament today (that's my home club) those golfers were not enjoying the heat at all.

I can't explain it....I don't understand it,,,,,,and I have never felt it.

Is this a deaf thing?????

Definitely not a deaf thing. I know the feeling. Happens all too much!!! Hope you are feeling better by now. Though loneliness never seems to fade...atleast not for me.

I have played softball in Rock Hill SC.....It was at Cherry Tree park or something like that. Still have a team picture around here somewhere that we took by the Mighty Casey statue.

That was in like 1992......park me be gone by now....lol

That's a really good sign you're recovering or recovered. Glad to hear that:D. I had a problem with bright lights so much that I had leave night clubs or places with lots of flash photography. A CHP (CA state trooper) pulled me over and he approach on the left side of my car and his flashlight went right into my eyes after I tried to switch my head over from left to right; a emergency trip and injection of drug. Fun times.

BTW- totally off-topic- does anyone know if there's a system or something that tells a officer which "preferable" side of the vehicle to approach? I'm deaf on the left ear/side so I have to drag my head around to the left and I've always had to get out of the car after asking the officer to get out so I could understand him better. Might ask a legislator to implement a recognizable sticker to an officer like a blue disabled placard but different; shows the officer which side to approach or to warn the officer the driver is mostly/is deaf.

I don't do much volunteer work (I know I could sacrifice a few hours), but I imagine that it can be a really rewarding experience.

Hmm..well I hope you don't feel as lonely as when you first started your post..

That's dedication! I love my Mtn. Dew, but I've never done anything like that. I call it "Go Juice" at work and sometimes when I do something strange, it comes up. "Craig, did you have enough Go Juice today?" "Craig, your colleagues have assembled this fine collection of 20 cartons of 48 packs of mountain dews simply for being awesome. knock yourself out buddy!"

ooooohhh...yeah...flip flops + amusement park = fail. ouch. doesn't sound lovely. I hope you have a fine assortment of heels to cover that injury.

I'm special :aw::aw::aw: :jaw:

I am going to bet my friend I can drink more Mt Dew than he drinks can of beers in a week time....while we out golfing later this morning......this will actually be tough challenge and between working graves and home I can go through about 50 cans a week. No wonder I have sleep problems

Don't bet then.......50 cans is only 2 days worth of beer
