Obama White House? can you be any more obvious?

It should've been Obama\White House to mean the "administration."

or you could simply say "White House" because we know who is the President. wondering why the big emphasis on "Obama"

Careful ... if you keep posting all these anti-Obama posts - you just may draw the attention of the Feds and the Secret Service - oh no.. you don't want attention from them. :nono:

Its an compulsion. He can't resist. If he doesn't type Obama at least 100 times every day, something horrible will happen. Obessive thoughts about Obama, compulsive actions regarding the thoughts.

Koko,

Can you please just display the title of the Article in the Title slot instead of making one up?

It would lessen the hassles for you, accusations, and finger pointing. I think it is simpler to do it that way.

As for the article....

I do believe that any administration in the White House should not withhold information, however did they or did they not provide all of it?

Here's the original title (headline) and lead sentence of the article:

"Lieberman, Collins leaning toward taking administration to court over Fort Hood
By J. Taylor Rushing - 05/06/10 05:22 PM ET

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and ranking Republican Susan Collins (Maine) on Thursday said they are poised to press their subpoena fight with the Obama administration into court."

The headline (which is usually produced by the editor, not the writer) using the word "administration", which would be the administration of President Obama.

The lead uses the term "Obama administration", which is pretty specific.

That being said, "Senators Threaten to Sue Obama White House For Withholding Info on Ft. Hood Shootings" is probably overkill since we know who is in the White House. Also, by using "White House" instead of "administration" it implies the White House staff rather than the broader administration.

Sometimes headlines are driven by character space as much as content but in this AD example, "Obama White House" isn't any shorter than "administration."

But, hey, that's the career editor in me.

I learned something today.

I was offering a way for him to avoid being picked on. Thanks for your input!

You have a point there. Using the titles/headlines that are provided by the original sites should be a "safer" alternative as long as the sites themselves are reasonable. :)

Not worried about being "picked on." Minor stuff there that people are screeching over, if you get my drift. Thanks anyway.
