Iphone killer

I had to loled at the audio caption... it said "the fastest sex message" rather than saying "the fastest text message".
Really, you must be kidding me, right!?

Clarification....

Each platforms have their own benefits.

I have played with the Android, Windows Mobile, RIM, Apple and Symbian.

Well... Apple and Android were fun to play with; Window Mobiles got the best customization and developer support at the time; Symbian got a nice long history behind it.

Well...

I went with the BlackBerry because it was obvious that the data were more secured and had more things to connect my friends and business contacts with. E-mail and SMS services were better and so on.

Only thing that sucked about the BlackBerry was... it's not a lot of fun to play with, but that's okay... all I do is read blogs anyway.

(LOL), you hardly know me. w/e you think that i dont understand w/e you mean.. Did i ask you "please clarify" if i don't understand you?! then don't give me another lecture about it, please. Because You already judge a book by it's cover.
huh? why do I need to know you? I'm not judging you. I'm telling you what these devices are for.

Once again as I said "w/e you think that BB runs Business only, that entitled your opinion".. and just move on..
but it's the "fact" as established by many experts and reviewers.

example - Great Geek Debates: iPhone vs. Blackberry
Personal vs. Business Functionality
Companies run Blackberry server products. From the connectivity to Microsoft Exchange server and the ease of mobile e-mail, the Blackberry is far superior to the iPhone. Blackberry was created with business use in mind. While it may have a slower CPU, the Blackberry makes up for it with its office applications. There is a reason it’s nicknamed “the Crackberry.” Have you ever seen a sales guy not fiddling with or talking on his Blackberry phone? Also, when it comes to security on the Blackberry, well, let’s just say it’s secure enough for President Obama to use. Official statement from Blackberry as to the security:

The BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution has been approved for storing and transmitting sensitive data by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as well as government organizations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Austria, Australia and New Zealand.

The iPhone has more storage, a faster CPU and more RAM. All great attributes for playing games. As I’ve witnessed at work, the iPhone is the anti-productivity phone. Don’t pretend like you are holier than thou and don’t spend countless work hours downloading apps and playing the new Iron Man game or any of the thousand other games.

Recently, the iPhone became compatible with Exchange Server, which was a huge step toward integrating with business. The iPhone has made great strides in favor of business use. Many businesses are making the switch and many handy applications are specific to certain industries, such as medical apps for drug reference or symptom tracking that are gaining popularity with those in the medical field. However, there are still security concerns with the phone, though those are being addressed. It also doesn’t help the iPhone for business that it’s only available on AT&T in the United States. Companies like to price shop and AT&T’s service isn’t that great in all areas.

When I get a phone, I don’t want to wait for the patch that will make it secure: I want it to come secure. That hurts the iPhone for business use at its current stage. Apple is making strides in the security department, as all new iPhones come equipped with MobileMe, which allows you to find your lost iPhone as well as remotely wipe its memory clean.

As for personal usage, the Blackberry is a sturdy and reliable phone. But due to the wide range of applications and amazing graphical interface and selection of games, the iPhone wins the personal use battle by a wide margin.

So this category is a draw. Blackberry wins for business use and security, iPhone wins for personal use. Blackberry + 1, iPhone + 1

Will BlackBerry give Android, iPhone a run for their money?
“With its high proportion of business users and overall high-end demographic, the BlackBerry audience is very desirable and targeted by advertisers,” Ms. Tornabene said. “Its appeal to key Quattro segments like auto, electronics, travel and consumer goods yields a higher CPM for reaching the BlackBerry audience.
.....
BlackBerry devices, although traditionally thought of as enterprise or business devices, are moving much more into the mainstream for consumers' personal use.

Here is not my place to challenge somebody. I just wanted to be peace with everyone whoever can share me with their experience about touchscreen or w/e..
right. why are you being so defensive? I'm not challenging you. I'm sharing you with my opinion on these devices and my experience with touchscreen. I'm still QWERTY user - the actual keyboard. I hate touchscreen to type. and I still prefer "business" device because of its superb communication capability. I'm not interested in "fun" stuff. Where am I supposed to do fun stuff? I'm busy driving or talking to people or walking to destination. That's why I chose Blackberry.

Blah...*scratch head*: You expect me being ignorant about BB? I am current BB user,
here's what you said in your OP
I really thinking about leave ole RIM for iphone killer. I really wanted something different tech and learn new things about touchscreen (no longer QWERTY device). RIM wont make storm for tmobile. Plus, RIM will not capable catch up with iphone, droid or WM touchscreen in future, because RIM make the same device & OS over and over, ahh give me a break. I predict RIM's market will be soon APOCALYPSE!

just telling you that it's not about which one is better. it's about different device for different purpose. Like I said - Android/iPhone = fun stuff. Blackberry = business stuff. Which one do you prefer? that's up to you. If you like BB but want it to be more fun - then just get iPod Touch like what Highlander did.. or get Nintendo DS... or iPad... or whatever you want.

btw - I predict Palm Pre and Windows Mobile will soon be APOCALYPSE! Blackberry/Android/iPhone will be the dominant platforms for a very very long time.

hi wazza!

Right, I use BB for business travel as I need. PAM ready, google sync ready, backup ready, and Sorenson IP Relay ready.

I use iTouch *iPod touch* for fun and some apps (Rev, Fuzzy car, VIN, repairPal, and cartrouble) for vehicles.

btw Highlander - on the second thought.... maybe I should do what you do! I just checked the price and it's $199 :hmm:

perhaps I could find refurbished/used one for cheap!

For several time I hear about "iPhone killer" and it never happen.

souggy, Yes I actually aware of RIM's secured. but I recall that India or Middle east demanded rim that they able access the authorize DATA to check customers emails.. but very lucky that RIM declined their require.

I'm not judging you.
Yes you did.

Ahh Good.. Yes I respect your opinion on those devices. Nexus 1 is for business purpose, did you know that?

If you are happy with blackberry, thats fine. I aint here to judge nor bash BB users. I am still support the people who still use the BB.. I am used to be the die hard BB user. BB is king of push emails. Anyway I am going to be soon retire from BB, and good bye to RIM.

here's what you said in your OP

Nah I disgree this. MMmm, I had heard that Palm is for SALE! thats very sad. However RIM will be next, become like Palm. watch out for RIM's market will collapse someday. Honest, RIM really struggle to keep up on market. i always watch and check RIM's market as of below

:
from Market Watch. You or BB users better sell currently BB possible before hardly sell it on ebay or CL.. People will start to look iphone killers, when BB is no longer/ useless.

Microsoft WM can keep up with iphone and droid. all of them will dominate the market. look that MS made announced new WP7 with OS by this year. its awesome!

Nope, here's a screen shot:

SG, Yes I see that, Ha Ha Ha, thats very funny. when i re-read his lip on clip again.. wow you are good catch, but he actually said *text*.. :naughty:

For several time I hear about "iPhone killer" and it never happen.
Let me assume you are mad at million's million of people scream this isn't PALM PRE KILLER, but "IPHONE KILLER"!?

John Connor is not amused.

A little off topic but just to add about the multi-tasking, the iPad will get this in the fall. :D

Never mind. I understand what s meaning with it. Swype allows a user to enter a word by sliding a finger or stylus from letter to letter.
Yes, thats right.. My theory: SW-YPE is origin name comb from SW-oosh and t-YPE. I could be wrong.. What do you think about these name combinations?
