Ego and greed.
I am not sure the military is using the right tools to weed its garden. Surely that much greed and that huge an ego cannot be hidden from someone who is looking for it as a danger sign.
There is no way I can believe a man has an honorable motive in him if he sells secrets for $200,000. Money is his only moral code.
Worse, I cannot think of a punishment harsh enough to fit the crime.
Doesn't the military have psyche evaluations?
How much good are they?
I think I understand your position a little better, though I'm not sure I would ever actually agree with it.
You're right about most except rocking the boat. I'm a notorious boat rocker....In case you are not aware of it you have maintained a consistent posture in all of your posts, not just in this thread but in others.
I don't want to pigeon hole you or imply that your attitudes and beliefs are wrong, but in general you believe in authority, not rocking the boat, maintaining professionalism, doing your duty as it is defined by you position and profession. I would say you easily fit into the military and professional cultures.
Only based on what little information we are given. If I had more details I might have a different opinion. But based on the published facts, I would say yes.In this thread you maintain the police and the military acted correctly.
