Not liking the idea, but it's something that I think needs to be done. None of us can live forever.

What Life Insurance company do you recommend that I try? Given with my wife's pre-existing condition with diabetes, congestive heart failure, renal failure, respiratory arrest and a stroke. Plus she's bedridden and is dialysised 3 times a week.

So, I'm sure there's a lot of Life Insurance companies that will reject her, so I'm looking into a company that will not ask medical questions and so on.

Suggestions anyone?

well....... like you said - lot of life insurance companies will not even consider her but if there is one.... I imagine the payout would be very small.

Whatever helps, nobody wants to be stuck with a major bill that's gonna be hard to pay off.

Stick with term life insurance. Don't get any kind of whole life.

I don't remember the names of the companies but I have seen ads on TV for insurance companies that are aimed specifically for older people that don't require physicals. I don't know what the minimum age requirements are. Maybe you can find one of those companies.

In your wife's case, since she is not a breadwinner and you have no minor children (or do you?), you probably need only "final expenses" coverage. That should keep the amount lower for you.

Have you considered doing a pre-arranged funeral?

definitely a plus, I had to spend over $1,000 just to pay for my mother's funeral. My dad didn't have any money so we had to pitch in and pay as much as we could.

I had to hold off her marker for two years! because we just didn't have the money.

I don't know but would declaring bankruptcy help if your medical bill is too high?
