Can You Get the Captioning Working?

I was just surfing youtube and of course noticed how few videos are captioned. However, this video supposedly has captioning available, but I cannot get it working. Is it my computer or some fluke? Can you get the captioning working? Any suggestions?

You're not the only one who has a problem with this video.

I asked hubby to help me, he said it was this video that has the problems with the captioning.

I suspect it is because it is BETA, it will have its flukes.

Did you click on the red CC icon?

Then, click on "transcribe audio"?

Then, click on "OK"?

It worked for me.
 
p.s.

The captions on this video aren't perfect--there are errors.

"BETA" version means all the bugs have not yet been worked out.

Hey, that worked for me as well! I learned something new today, Reba! Thanks so much! :)
 
CC on YouTube doesn't apply to ALL videos, it applies to some channels, and it takes time to progress on youtube vieos.
 
One thing to remember is that you want the CC icon to be and stay red. If it's grey, then it's not showing captions.
