we already did. It's called Gitmo Camp
Really? All the Muslim Americans were rounded up and sent to GITMO? When did this happen?

the quote - "Now we can send the Muslims and Arab-Americans to camps too!"

perhaps the arguements about lack of freedom in arab countries is misguided, like their versions of what freedom means is different from the western countries. said differently ideas of ownerships of finance and material goods are defined by capitalism, while the arabs world's wealth has been defined by selling of oil in the 20th century, (argued that some of which is in decline) or rather use of oil is in decline (electric cars is around the corner). Like I said before its not 'politics' that we're lead to believe but political economy, that is money. To sum up what im saying i suspect the arabs feel threaten by the loss of revenues in (near) future, then using religion as a weapon of mass destruction (again, not actual bombs as we're lead to believe, but people, they - themselves becomes bombs!) Lastly freedom seem to have a lot to do with rights to wealth. and ownership, now think about this i think lighthouse said a very salient point that;

Which reminds me, as I read in one article. do muslims believe in : render to Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and to God the things which are God's.

this quote points out that apparently there is different ideas of what freedom means, giving god the wealth 'brings hope for the promised land', in which this conflicts sharply with individuals' ownership of material goods. This may explain why arabs are essentially anti-capitalist but again, the owners of oil's wealth as been hiding behind their religionous justification of the 'caste system' of wealth as 'princes' (there are hundreds of prices over there) you see i suspect the arabic religion world plays a huge role in denying their hypocricsy for greed which thye gained from the capitalism itself in foreign land (thereby they were 'allowed' to hide it). And when you think about it, its hardly surprising (if you can see it this way) they feel theatened for poverty if they lose their oil sales hence terrorism.) was a way to bully. ALL the while the spin on the media maintained oil crash, oil addiction, lack of freedom over there (arabs) which really not the western idea of freedom. come to think of it, religious obligations exists well and truely in the west, just look at mormons, scientiology, catholicism, you name it they all have it too, just it seems compatiable with capitalism. This is because capitalism was closely developed alongside this christianity since the middle ages...... people just forget...which is why politics works so well ...they feed on people forgetfulness...thanks to the fourth estate....the media.....

Some of us are resistant to indoctrination. I can't see American women signing up to wear a hijab and use the back doors.

you missed my point, why dont you get the film "Traitor"(2009)with Guy Pearce and Don Cheadle and study the ways they talk about religion and how it links to justification to kill...

For all of you folks who have the following words in your vocabulary: "Muslim bad... Muslim = Terrorist", research the country "The United Arab Emirates". It is a very highly developed, modern and liberal Islamic country. I hate to see the huge amount of stereotyping occurring in this thread.

That one thing makes the country evil? Weird considering if a Muslim was to try to spread their religion in the US (to some people), they would be likely to be discriminated against, yelled at, cursed at, or even shot by some radicals. You aren't any better.

yeah, probably. But you know that's just the way the world is. So I can understand if some country want protect their culture. I just don't understand why everyone is getting mad at Switzerland for doing this. They are more likely to do this with any religion.
