Only fools would cut and lose significant savings that come with AARP membership. AARP fights for your Medicare rights and if you don't like it, don't collect Medicare. Stand for your principles, ok?

McCain, a very wealthy man, collects social benefits? I want his benefits removed. He doesn't need them as there are more people that need it more.
 
Hubby and I are at ages that we are eligible for AARP but we will never join the organization despite the fact they keep bugging us with mailings. We decided that years ago.

As for social benefits, McCain deserves it since he paid into the system and now its his turn to collect. If he doesn't want to collect it he certainly can request his money be stopped or use it to donate it to good causes.

They were such harrassing to send me in the mail. I discard it into the trash. GRRRRRRRRRR

SS is a pyramid scheme and it cannot go on much longer. Medicare is "fine" except it for it's $60 billion dollars a year on fraud and waste but like SS everybody is forced to pay into this system.

Do you want rid of Social Security? If so how does poor retired people will earn money?

401k is out of question for work at low paying job.

First, take some time to understand how SS system works. You don't earn it. You pay into it. It's not like a savings account. Please, seriously, do some research first.

You aren't answer my question, Do you want rid of Social Security and replace with something? If yes so how does retired people will earn money when they turn in 65 after retire from work?

Don't tell me to research so I do understand about SS so I'm ASKING you, not about my knowledge.
 
SS needs to be reformed, seriously reformed by which Bush tried to do a few times but was laughed off by the Democrat Congress. He saw this coming down the road. At this point, there is no guarantee that you or I will receive SS. Money is running out so to speak.

Ok. Explain to me how SS works.

of course it was laughed off. Privitalization of SS? Putting SS into stock market? I'm sorry but SS money that we paid is not a gambling money. If they want to put it into stock market, then do not make us pay for SS. we will do the mutual funding ourselves.

Quit being spying on my knowledge, I have retain you from asking me about my knowledge with SS, it is very long define and I already learned from high school.

I'm just simply ask you about want rid of SS, that it or do you want privatization of SS?

There's word for you, I live in USA!!!! Not Europe or Canada.
