What the hell? Twixels?

If you're thinking about Twix candy bars (cookie bars), you're right!

Twix has made a new line of candy bars called Twixels. It's a bit more fancy and half the size in width, not length. They have 3 flavors... caramel (original), triple chocolate, and french vanilla.

I just had some of the triple chocolate kind... delicious! Tastes good with milk! :)

Anyone ever try these?
 
Nope, I have not tried them. I should give them a try. Twix was my favorite childhood candy.
 
Ummm that is interesting.... never seen it yet....but will keep eye out for it and try just one. :)
 
Looks interesting, I will look for them when I go to the store.
 
They didn't have any :( - oh well... It will probably take a while anyway until they are available here :D
 
i had Twixels Triple Chocolate and they are ok. i think my problem is that my tongue rather touch a huge dark chocolate than thin. :giggle:
 
I haven't heard or seen of Twixels around here.

If I do get a chance to see one, I'd definitely give it a try. I like eating Twix and their gooey caramel sticks are just mmmm, scrumptious!

I think it's only available at Target.

I've already looked at Walmart, Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Albertsons.

Maybe, the other stores will get it later.

I just finished the triple chocolate flavor. It was actually better than I thought.

I've had things that were triple chocolate and they are often too much or poorly mixed. In order for triple chocolate to taste good, the 3 different chocolates have to be just right in order for the mix to come out right. Well, it came out right for this. :)

Next, I'm gonna try the creamy caramel. :)
 
I just remember now. I have tried Cadbury Fingers - they are somewhat like Twixels. They are so-so, not exactly crazy about them.

Pepperridge Farm has some. They are called Pirouette or something like that - usually in tall tin containers.

The box looks pretty retro as suited for a different generation, not of the youngsters.

I wonder about the website review, it's not serious when it says for dinner right? :lol:

Yeah, it's just a food review website. They probably review regular food, but review snacks and sweets from time to time.

These things would be perfect for bowls of ice cream. Just open a box and stick one in each bowl of ice cream for everyone you're serving ice cream to. A perfect combination would be... vanilla ice cream with french vanilla Twixels... chocolate ice cream with triple chocolate Twixels... vanilla/caramel swirl ice cream with creamy caramel Twixels... etc. :)
 
I'm going to look for them at Target. I also want to try that Twix ice cream!

I ate twix while I was taking the bar. Tons of them! My fav!
 
That's delicious! I like that ice cream too. :)

I just ate the french vanilla kind. Wow... RICH!
