Thanks, mod.

For current protest, I think US need back off for now but our government has rights to express any concern about protest and terrible brutal by basji and riot police.

Human rights in Iran is very horrible.

Yea, it is terrible but why cant their own people fight back?

that applies for Liebling as well for not answering my simple question!

Perhaps Liebling hasn't been back on since you asked your question. I dunno.

I believe they could but only problem about almost all protesters are not armed and gun law in Iran is probably tighten.

What you think about what we should to Iran?

you missed the game. she did answer my question but it was the avoidance answer.

NO country has the right to dictate the policies of another -- period.

you missed my re-edit - and USA is not really dictating the policy of other countries. We are supporting and funding and assisting others to gain their freedom against the tyranny.

btw - are you really sure about your comment? after all.... USA helped a great deal to the world and better the world by increasing human rights awareness & spreading democracy/freedom such as Korean War, Somalia, Bosnia, East/West Germany, and bunch more.

screw Communism! :mad2:

I dont think we should force our policies on them. If they ask for a helping hand, extend it but not invade their country.

Jiro,

I'm quite confident in my comment otherwise I wouldn't have made it.

they are. That's why rally/protests are still going on. You know what's messed up? The Basijis are hunting them down like animals. Yes the goonie squad created by Ayatollah Khomeini - the one that Liebling applauded and congratulated to. It's disgusting.

That's why I want Obama to continue supporting the freedom group in Iran.

Exactly. This is not the U.S.'s battle. This is Iran's battle. If the majority of Iranians wanted a Marxist government, would we step in with funding to insure that they get what they want? The only reason funding was ever provided was because the U.S. sees it as an opportunity to spread their political stance to another country.

Yup, in few years ago and Bush is considered about want invade Iran but I was like no way, too much for us and it could cause more diplomat strain and increase of extremist Islam groups and terrorist to attack us like Iraq did.

Assist with them, such as food, weapon, funding is sure, our presidents has done to assist with other organization or countries, such as Reagan admin funded to support Contras in 80's and many list to say.

so what about Korean War? By your logic - Americans have no business in Korea. Did you even read what modern Iranians want?

The only reason funding was ever provided was because the U.S. sees it as an opportunity to spread their political stance to another country.
really? do you have a source to back that statement?
