Tonight, 9pm (AESDT) is the time I will be finding out if I get the place in Bachelor of Business Informatics course at University of Canberra. The wait is over..... the truth will be revealed...tonight. :hyper:
 
So it will be about noon or one o'clock tomorrow here?
 
I hope that you could get Bachelor course tonight. :D
 
Sydney Australia is 17 hours ahead of Seattle, WA. That means--Sydney is 15 hours ahead of Botti's time zone.

So--when he get's his news at 9pm Sydney time--it will be 6 am-Iowa time, 4am Seattle time. (Sorry JClarke--good luck, I'll still be sleeping.)

I have never heard of having to be offered to be a student at a university. But congratulations, anyways! :D

I was automatically accepted at Saint Cloud State University when I was 21. They told me that if I am 21 or over by the time school starts, the university automatically accepts me. I miss that university, but I don't miss having to take all the stupid electives just for one major. I want to go to SAC (San Antonio College) and get a certification in Graphic Design. That way I only have to take the classes that are specifically for Graphic Design. I personally think electives are a waste of time and money.

The system in Australia is different -- people apply for the courses at Universities, 3 or 4 months before, and they have to wait to see if they get accepted, and it all depending on the UAI (GPA in USA, I think -- not sure) but I applied for the course as a mature age student (21 and over -- I am 22, this year) and I believe it would have been automatically, but it was offered in the main round so it is great news I've seen all day :D

I won't fail -- I have recently graduated from the community technology centre last year with a similar ceriticate, and this is a major degree... come back in 5 years, comprando?

That s weird thing about different degrees between UAI and GPA. Mostly American students are over 18 years to get bachelor courses.
 
University only applies from 18 years and over but we have a few students who goes there at age 16 :shock: --- smart students, I'll say!

Someone got there at age 14 when he s very smart and highest IQ.
