Blackberry Curve or 8800 media player advice

I wouldnt want to watch movie on my BB cuz the CC would be so small for me to read so forget it. Sorry dude but for other is great for them.

I havent problem with movie-subtitles on curve AS SO FAR! Now bold released and Bold has large screen 480x320.. Mmm ;)

Get a reading glasses or magnifying glass :rofl: J/K.

BB Thunder have bigger screen, this should help you read better. I sure hope Sprint will include it for SprintRelay.com for deaf people.

I haven't had any luck finding software that allow adjust font bigger for subtitle..

Allow me to go to the bush and collect these blackberries, where they can be a tool into the techonology world.
 
CuCuSoft Ultimate DVD converter is great and It have live DVD preview screen and click on subtitle and it'll show and click "Convert" and it'll convert from the beginning and you can see movie screen go fast if you have AMD64 or fast Intel processor but once it's done converting, The bb screeen will show normal with subtitle. If you own AMD64x2 or Intel Duo (any dual core processor), It'll converts movie up to 300%.

What I noticed some minor annoying problem is the movie ran on BB showing some kind of "octave". Movie run smooth then a little jitter then smooth then little jitter on and on. I might have to play with some setting to make it smooth.

DVD Catalyst 3 is my #1 choice despite bugs on subtitle and it made movie on BB run slick sexy smooth all the way to end. CuCuSoft Ultimate DVD converter is my #2.

Yes I know what you are talking about it.. thats what I notice.. I did converted DVD movies to video formats by different Laptops and desktop, same behavors. I wondered if its normal is act that way? it is software issue?? Nevertheless, it is very litte bit annony me.. Heh Heh.. I left it that and accept it acts that way. I really enjoy to watch movies on BB whenever I feel bored at clinc or hosptial, wherever.. ;)

Me too, I wondering if 3GP Movie or 3GP Video Clip will running on bold or not.. because I read article somewhere internet said WMV formats runs on bold, but didnt say anything about 3GP. So I hope 3GP Formats will work on bold too, fingercross!

When you get bold, I will pass you site that where movie clip for free by PM as lemme know asap..

Now I got bold and send me a link in PM. I will let u know how it goes. By the way, I have dark knight dvd rip and its xivd format. And how to convert from dxiv to wmv or mpeg 4 and transfer it to bb video folder?
 
You will either need DivX or DVDVideoSoft Free Studio converter software to do this.
 
Well, a lot of DVD ripping software will do the job just fine. I ripped a short clip from a DVD and played a mpeg-4 file on my Samsung i907 and the bitrate was like 768kbps and it plays just fine, even shows subtitles. Thanks to the fast 624 MHz processor on my phone, unlike the Intel 312 MHz processor found in the Blackberry 8800 or Curve. Processor, video and also the memory card speed plays the role with handling video, nothing to do with the software that converts it.

I had run video on my BB with 312 MHz Intel CPU and haven't any problem.

I had tried 2 different phone with WM6, BJII and Tilt, video isn't run so smooth as my BB does.
 
Right now, I use Ultra mobile 3GP video converter to convert from DVIX to 3GP format with setting 480X360 and subtitle enable, and 24 FPS. The movie is Dark Knight DVD rip. O use a BB bold and i want to test if it goes well with 480X360 instead your suggestions

dUDE, You can't setting screen size 480x360 above BB's actual size 480x320. it will doesn't work.. trust my word. I had experinces with different screen-size settings. Unless You setting as customize screen-size settings, it will be fine and running on your bold.

You need to go downloading Any Video Converter 2.6.7 which is best software for video converter! If 3GP Formats can't work on any device. this video converter will convert 3GP clip into different format clip like wmv or MP4 then it will running any device. it depend on what specify setting and convert. I love that video programs.

HOLY FUCK! i meant to set 480 x 320 not 360. :shock: damn... i fucked up... :aw: thats ok because its my first time try out. should i cancel because so far its 88 percents complete. Yeah I use an ultra mobile 3gp video converter which is good program. :) :D

Yeah I have no problem any video clip on BB.. it running on curve and 8800 so great without freeze up nor crash.. it doesn't make battery drain so quickly.. what about your device will drain so quickly when you watch movie at least 2 hours? Just wondering..
