Hitler was anti-communist, but he was also anti-capitalist. Free enterprise was allowed, but government intervention in the economy was heavy. It wasn't quite socialism as we view it today, but they were also far off from free market capitalism. It was just national socialism. I'm not sure it can be pigeon-holed any other way.
