I'm sorry but did they put the gun to your head to say it? Did they threaten to throw you in jail or to hang up for being a heathen? You are free to NOT say it.
But at the schools, they will send me to the lunch detention or recess cancellation if I refuse to sing the flag pledge with the "God" on it, they does forced me to, but till I finally felt more freedom when I was at the high school while they are more understanding about the religions and tried their best to stay out of it, like they don't celebrate any kind of celebrates, they rather to let the teachers or students to celebrate on their own.
You're talking about law of nature. We are not immune to it. What I speak of is something that animal kingdoms do not have - Consciousness. That is subjected to debate.
May I ask what is the difference between an nature law or "man made" laws? Or should I say the man-made laws works just like the nature laws? What about those "no violence", "no murder", "have to have the foods available for suviving", but let me tell you a bottom line of this:
I would consider the ten commenident(sp?) from the bible as nature law also.
About Faith and God... I'm just saying many people take it too literally. I'm just explaining what "God" means in my own words. I don't believe in heaven, hell, supreme being creating the world or such thing but I do believe in unexplained, mythical-like power that we have inside our mind and that is called faith. love. wisdom. JMO.
Of course I do respect your opinion. I just don't understand why would they mix the word of God with the word of "faith"? Is that what God is all about?
Neither does USA government and America's founding fathers and pilgrims.
Well we are still just like the USA governments or the America's founding father or those pilgrims as today, I am sure all of them does have the disagreements with each other as today. There is just no difference in the publication today.
hey - that's fine! You are free to say that. Nobody's telling you to say "in one nation, under God."
