Oh, just wondering.

Some reasons for going to OC movies are...

- don't watch DVDs at home
- for a date
- to meet other deaf people (this is very common in Rochester)
- enjoy the big screen
- etc

I rarely go to movie theater these days, but I can vote is less than one time a month. I have not been to open captioned movie since couple months ago. I've gone there like once a year or so if there is gather place to go to open captioned theater.

Same with me. I go once every two or three months.

Since last year, I've seen 5 movies that were OC. I might watch 2 this month. :dunno:

I rarely go to an O.C. movie. We do have it here on every monday but the thing is, most of the time it shows movies that I don't want to watch. If it is the one that I want to watch, I'll go.

I'd say, I go there probably 3 or 4 times a year but that's just about it. Usually, it'd be out on a date or with a group of friends.

The last O.C. movie I saw was HellBoy II; The Golden Army.

only once for me.. it was legend of .. i forgot! opps
it was from Svrs vp group company paid for it.. so i go free and watch it with cc!

Close to where I work, they have open captioned movies all the time. I love to go and enjoy the movies on open captioning as long as its a great movie I want to watch..........rear window though, I don't like to much because at times..I will get ready to go to the movie and arrive and sit there and they don't have the rear movie working! Of course I get my money back and an extra convince ticket to compensate.. but it bothers me and this has happened to me twice once in FL. (never showed the rear captioning:mad:) and once in Calif. (worked and stopped working during Dark Knight)

That's how it is with me.

The time is always conflicting. I usually go with my friend. However, it's either too late or too early and we both work the day after it's shown too late. :(

In my area, the next couple movies are City of Ember and Quarantine. These two look worthy to watch. :)

i never watch open captioned in my hometown i asked movie theater manager for that and never listen for that! and they disrespectives deaf people customer but need treat.

i watch open caption in Olathe,KS at theatre sometimes not lots before im graduate at Kansas School for the Deaf.

so i would fight movie manager for against open captioned as deaf people customer im really serious!

Yeah, the time is also a conflict for me too. If it was showing on the weekend, That'd be even better but the downside is, it shows on monday evenings, grrr.

They do show O.C. movies in Lexington on the weekends but the thing is, I'd have to drive like 40 mins up there and it usually shows late at night. I'd not mind going there but what's the fun if I go there by myself? I'd rather go there if someone goes with me.

Ah, I've seen the trailer of Quarantine. It looks good and I also want to see that one too. Let me know how it turns out. :)

I had to vote never. We are supposed to get one theater complex that will show rear window captioning here, but not until November of this year.

i RARELY to go OC movies because i have so much things to do better than spend 7 bucks to sit and watch.. i rather to rent or own dvd over OC movie.

I haven't seen Open Captioned movies because they are 45 minutes away.

This link has all the movie theaters with captioning listed by cities.

AMC Theatres

Anyone else have other websites listing captioning in cinemas in the USA?

I don't have OC in my town. Watching a movie with RVC is too much of hassle for me. I can't remember when's the last time I saw a movie with RVC.

If I lived in a town that has OC instead, I'll probably go more often since I enjoy watching movies.
