why would it be any lesser value? it's just limbs and organs. You can replace your organs, arms, fingers, eyes, etc... but you cannot replace the very essence of you - something that makes you as you.

lol..... that site is created by anti-abortionists. The big reason why some people don't like cloning/stem cell is because it involves abortion process. oh well.....

don't worry. Cloning is a very broad issue. This thread is going to get all over. Cloning human being..... cloning human body part.... cloning a pet.... cloning agricultural animals... etc.

I don't think we'll ever get to cloning a WHOLE human. Stick to old fashioned way, please :naughty:. As for cloning body parts - why not? I'm 100% up for it.

Yep. That would be fine if it's about saving humans' lives. ;)

I just disagreed with idea of cloned pets and food, espeically cloned humans.

I don't think we'll ever get to cloning human beings ever. It's banned and unethical. I'm sure in a few hundred years later - some twisted defense contractors or a government will clone humans to produce soldiers. Again - cloning human being is nearly impossible, too costly, and too difficult. Genetic Engineering is a logical choice. It's lot less riskier and cheaper than cloning human beings out of test tubes. Just gather bunch of women aka "sex slaves" or "human incubators" and have them give birth to genetically-enhanced babies.

Bold font - I am only stand on my opinion, a pervious comment before your comment. That's all. Yeah, I think I'd heard of that before. I agreed with them is totally unethical and... unnatutal. ...from some thoeries that I read them at some communities on some webpages I often visit.
 
Cloning can be a great success for those who can't have babies or those who don't want to carry babies. Simply infuse the dad's DNA and mom's DNA and ask if they want a black or white baby.

Whatcha think?

why? we already have that. it's called IVF (In vitro fertilization). As for infertile spouse - sorry tough luck but there's something called adoption.

they can either adopt a black baby or do genetic engineering. You're not making any sense. How does cloning help parents get a black baby? Cloning means a duplication of a person - an exact copy. So cloning is useless if the white parents want a black baby.
 
IVF is a process when the woman (if the issue lies on her side, that is) sucessfully produces an egg with gruelling drug treatment - the doctor removes it, and combines it with the husband's sperm to create an embryo.. then implants the embryo into her womb. She carries out her pregnancy normally. No cloning or anything bad about it. Just a different way of conceiving.
