Why wouldnt they approve? Arent u 18 years old? That makes u of legal age where u can make your own decisions on what u want to do in your life without your parents' approval.

oooh boy..dont mean to be blunt but parents controlling their adult kids' lives like that is not good at all cuz I have seen what happened to my friends who had parents who wouldnt allow them to explore much when they were into early adulthood. That is all I have to say and good luck when u are really on your own.
