Funny error word on CC

This video I made from my friend's TV. and I add annotation on youtube for you to see it.

I think captioning I mean whoever type it should correct word. Deaf/Hoh people would be like "Huh?".

Well, I thought that was funny error word but should type the exact word the character said on TV. I guess hearing person heard word sound alike, I dunno.
You have to watch out error word on CC. What do you think?

Now, I see it. Interesting.

Sometimes, they rush with captioning that they make mistakes. It often happens with older shows since they're in a hurry to caption it for television. I've seen it happen with a lot of shows.

It is more common with live captioning. :)

Yes, right. I've seen that happens with other TV show too, not only TV show but also TV news too cuz my hearie friend heard it and caught error word. Next time, I will show it again.

Vampy is right that hurried captioning is the worst for spelling, but sometimes it's just that the captioner does the best he or she know how.

There's a current TV commercial where a girl is eating a power candy bar on a mountain top. It's in Montana's Bitterroot Mountains. The Bitterroot is Montana's state flower. The captions say "BITTER ROUTE MOUNTAINS."

All Montana deafies giggle.
 
There's a group I like. Someone recorded some special thingy, and the closed captioned said that "This group's new album is called "My Husband is Gay" You! LOL......some of the CC plms are almost like the mangeled English you see in other countries.
