Russia threatening Poland

Poland has all along been guided by fears of a newly resurgent Russia, an anxiety that has intensified with Russia's offensive in Georgia. In past days, Polish leaders said that fighting justified Poland's demands that it get additional security guarantees from Washington in exchange for allowing the anti-missile base on its soil.

Russia needs to tone down and look within its own borders for self-advancement. If Russia is so innocent, why would anti-missile defense systems be a detrement unto it? Russia's behavior and response is transparent.
 
It is ok for US to put missiles in Poland, why can't Russia put missiles in Cuba?

you got that right, and in the 1960's there was no such thing as defense missles, only offensive missles carrying large warheads.

there is a huge differences in military technology and application between these times. But yep, US tend to get away with deployment more easily that is a valid point Authentic made.
 
Yeah, well, Russians put their missiles on Poland first since Poland became a NATO member in 1999.

I hate the MEDIA, not America itself.

Which is why I'm voting for Obama. I can't stand the current administration.

Nah I don't hate AD. And it is true that my friends off-line think that I'm an equal-opportunity hater.

South Ossetia belonged to Georgia for so many years until the Russian Red Army invaded and made Georgia as part of the Soviet Union in 1921. After the breakup of Soviet Union, South Ossetia is a part of Georgia and many countries and the United Nations officially have recognized South Ossetia as part of Georgia.
