G'day all,

I am typing this thread on my sidekick 3 at the moment, and I thought, why not? I wanted to create a blog on alldeaf for you all to enjoy reading, I'm sure that you all would like that and I don't mind at all. :)

I will write whenever I have the time to write by my sidekick or my laptop where I have taken with me (even my Viable VPAD! ! :D)

Right now, I'm sitting in one of the small cafes at the Sydney domestic airport, where I've just done my lunch, which is beef lasnga and a nice salad at the side along with small coffe to add. All is good but I, early actually and unfortunately I cannot check in just yet (I've attempted to, but too early) so I'm just chilling at the cafe at the moment.

Its almost 1pm right now, and the flight doesn't take off until 335pm this afternoon and I don't check in until sometime at 2pm, so some bit of a wait. Ll survive with a game or two on PSP.

All I would know what would happen during my stay in Queensland, I know it has been a long time since I last visited there (apparently 6 years - 2002) so it would be fantastic for me to return once again. On Monday, the following week, me and my friend along with her housemates and her brother, all in a group, are going to Dreamworld, which is an ausement park in Gold Coast, where I have been there, and it is one of my favourites. I'm going back there again!

Bowling one night during my stay would be awesome, I am hopeful to beat the others. :D and on Friday, iim going to Brisbane for the day with my friend and my other deaf friend and we would be hopeful to meet one of our old classmate from elementary school (10 years ago) there where we can catch up again.

I don't really know what's in store but I'm sure there will be plenty of things to do there while I'm in town.

Now, the sidekick is about to head off to zzland soon, I shall try my best to update the blog but do please enjoy reading as I go in action!

Until then, AD'ers.

Wow, nice trip for Gold Coast. how big is amusement park? Cedar Point amusement park near Toledo OH is bigger and lots of rides . You will show some images of Gold coast and other place.

^^ One of Australia's 6 states "Queensland" abbreviated to Qld :)

1. Queensland (Qld)
2. New South Wales (NSW)
3. Victoria (Vic)
4. South Australia (SA)
5. Western Australia (WA)
6. Tasmania (TAS or Tassie)

7. Australian Capital Territory (ACT) ... that's where Jake is from
8. Northern Territory (NT)
9. Jervis Bay Territory (unknown to most)

Have fun as much as you can while you are in town with them. :D

Please, do share some photos with us if, you have time.

By the way, I am using my AT&T Tilt pager here, too.

Pretty good idea Jake. Almost like taking all ADers with you.

Philips - QLD is for short of "Queensland" such as what Matilida said. And I am in Ispwich right now, FYI.

Since yesterday's blog, I finally waited for 2 hours before I could check in, I checked in without a glitch.... but the sercuity part - where I had to pull out my laptop, my videohone (Yes, VPAD) out and my wallet, my coins and my belt! Gee, everything went smooth, thank god.

Then I waited at the gate for 30 minutes, got on the plane and the plane was ready in few minutes and we took off. The flight was quicker than I thought. Jolie, I couldn't take a photo of the view in Sydney, but I believe it is for 'eyes only' but the view on both cities was absolesultey (sp?) breathtaking, but when I arrived in Gold Coast, the city there was really awesome since the sun was setting upon arrival.

It was great to see my friend again as it was a long time - so we caught up, met her mum and then we all went out for dinner -- I had Chicken Satay pizza, it was nice, but unfortunately, couldn't eat it all, but I ate the most of it though. Went to the nightclub but this is what I didn't expect --

I went to order a coke (coca cola) and the bar got me one, I was going to pay him $10 so get some change, but the man said, no charge for the drink, I was gobsmacked, free coke!? Back in Canberra, we pay for any drink we want, but expect that the water is free, but COKE!? Wow, I was surprised and then I have eventually saved my money to have free drinks! (such as all other softdrinks, my friend said it)

We chilled there for a bit, I was watching around, there was girls everywhere, but meh. I was tired, and then we all went back to my friends house (which is unfortunately was near brisbane or whatnot) the trip there from Gold Coast was about 40 minute drive, and her friend's car was warm, which made me sleepy, I was struggling to stay awake, but it was impossible so I slept for a bit.

Finally I arrived, the house they live in was so big and very nice. But after a little while, I crashed on my bed, when I hit my head on the pillow, I was instantly fast asleep! (I know, I was so tired and it was midnight at the time)

Until then.

Ipswich! Crikey! it's cold there at nights in winter! but days are very warm. But you're used to the cold. ;)

Jclarke, you had changed your mind to take your VPAD. that s nice!

Matilida - yeah, it was cold in the middle of the night, last night but I got used to the cold, yeah since that's where I came from.

Dbarovian, yeah I bought my Vpad, only that my friend in QLD asked me to bring it with me so he wants to see. Oh well, a bungle of electronics!!

Good, young Aussie lady who lives in Brisbane, wants to get VPAD, I can't believe that.
