After few attempts and failures. Here it is!

I had trouble with photobucket and I gave up, went to tinypic.com and created an new account and uploaded all the photos I had from my camera. I am still uploading the photos from my mobile phone (Still experiecing problems) but this is the first part.
(I have included the blogs I have already posted but has been adjusted.

Saturday 19th July:

Right now, I'm sitting in one of the small cafes at the Sydney domestic airport, where I've just done my lunch, which is beef lasnga and a nice salad at the side along with small coffe to add. All is good but I, early actually and unfortunately I cannot check in just yet (I've attempted to, but too early) so I'm just chilling at the cafe at the moment.

Its almost 1pm right now, and the flight doesn't take off until 335pm this afternoon and I don't check in until sometime at 2pm, so some bit of a wait. Ll survive with a game or two on PSP.

All I would know what would happen during my stay in Queensland, I know it has been a long time since I last visited there (apparently 6 years - 2002) so it would be fantastic for me to return once again. On Monday, the following week, me and my friend along with her housemates and her brother, all in a group, are going to Dreamworld, which is an ausement park in Gold Coast, where I have been there, and it is one of my favourites. I'm going back there again!

Bowling one night during my stay would be awesome, I am hopeful to beat the others. and on Friday, iim going to Brisbane for the day with my friend and my other deaf friend and we would be hopeful to meet one of our old classmate from elementary school (10 years ago) there where we can catch up again.

I don't really know what's in store but I'm sure there will be plenty of things to do there while I'm in town.

Now, the sidekick is about to head off to zzland soon, I shall try my best to update the blog but do please enjoy reading as I go in action!

Sunday 20th July

Since yesterday's blog, I finally waited for 2 hours before I could check in, I checked in without a glitch.... but the sercuity part - where I had to pull out my laptop, my videohone (Yes, VPAD) out and my wallet, my coins and my belt! Gee, everything went smooth, thank god.

Then I waited at the gate for 30 minutes, got on the plane and the plane was ready in few minutes and we took off. The flight was quicker than I thought. Jolie, I couldn't take a photo of the view in Sydney, but I believe it is for 'eyes only' but the view on both cities was absolesultey (sp?) breathtaking, but when I arrived in Gold Coast, the city there was really awesome since the sun was setting upon arrival.

It was great to see my friend again as it was a long time - so we caught up, met her mum and then we all went out for dinner -- I had Chicken Satay pizza, it was nice, but unfortunately, couldn't eat it all, but I ate the most of it though. Went to the nightclub but this is what I didn't expect --

I went to order a coke (coca cola) and the bar got me one, I was going to pay him $10 so get some change, but the man said, no charge for the drink, I was gobsmacked, free coke!? Back in Canberra, we pay for any drink we want, but expect that the water is free, but COKE!? Wow, I was surprised and then I have eventually saved my money to have free drinks! (such as all other softdrinks, my friend said it)

We chilled there for a bit, I was watching around, there was girls everywhere, but meh. I was tired, and then we all went back to my friends house (which is unfortunately was near brisbane or whatnot) the trip there from Gold Coast was about 40 minute drive, and her friend's car was warm, which made me sleepy, I was struggling to stay awake, but it was impossible so I slept for a bit.

Finally I arrived, the house they live in was so big and very nice. But after a little while, I crashed on my bed, when I hit my head on the pillow, I was instantly fast asleep! (I know, I was so tired and it was midnight at the time)

Monday 21st July:

It was an awesome day today at dreamworld!

Now, tell you what? I will tell you right from the beginning and in the end, I will promise you that you will be laughing out loud when you read this.

We went down to Gold coast from Ispwich (west or near brisbane) which is around 40 minute drive, we picked up one of my friends brother, Pat. We arrived there, (I thought I would expect not a lot there but unfortunately, there was a lot of people who went which was good)

We all went to the very first ride of the way, which is called the 'The Giant Drop' - here is the image of an example below:

giantdrop_pic01.jpg

This ride takes you to the top of the very tall tower and remains there for a minute or two, and drops unexpectedly and it was very fast. On my first ride, (and my first time, I chickened out 6 years ago!) and you know what, when I saw the photo - it looked like that I swore! I was like in the photo "...F - F...." I couldn't even finish the word but in the end, it was an awesome ride.

I am sitting on the fourth seat from the right side.

We went over to the motocross ride - example below:

drw_2008_header_rides_motocoaster.jpg

It was a boring ride, a bit slow, didn't like it. That goes to the other ride we went on the other caiied Rugrats raptor -*yawn* boring *cough*

And then after that, we all went onto Wipeout, where it turns over and upside down and whatnot. I was chickened out of that ride 6 years ago as well - below is the image of an example :

wipeout.png

It was alright but a little scary when I see the bottom of the ground, :eek3:

But I forgot to mention before the wipeout ride, we all went on a logride - photo will be shown when I return home back in Canberra.

2l43ev.jpg

I am at the back - When it splashed with water, the jumper I was wearing was wet when the ride was finished! the girls out front, is my friends.

Then we all headed over to the #1 favourite of mine, in modern times such as today - The claw! Example:

dreamworld-1.jpg

At first, I was screaming, but it was awesome! It it like your hyporcriting someone, that's how the structure does to go back and forth - sweet!

And we headed off to one of my old #1 favourite which was 6 years ago but it is now at #2, which is 'Tower of terror!' It sounds like a plane taking off and it goes up to 160km/hr (not sure how much in miles though) from the start and it speeds up right to the tallest tower (where it shares with the giant drop as well)

It was awesome still and brings me the good memories back then. This is what it is like:

When it was finished, I had a look at the photo, and I bought it in a keyring with the photo as it was only close to $16 for two. Sweet! I gave one to my friend who was in the ride.

I know it is a bit blurry, but you can see whats like, I am on the second row front, second seat from the right, sitting next to one of the housemate, in blue shirt and black hair.

Then we checked out the tigers. And forgot to mention that, before the Tower of terror, we went to have lunch, I had "sponge Bob" pack which is mini pizza (ham and pineapple - hawaiian) with smal chips and a large coca cola (Yeah, Jolie!) and we ended up watching a girl getting slimed!

After we checked the tigers, we went on the cyclone which is a rollercoaster with two loops! It was fast a little bit scary.

So me and my friend went back on the claw for the second time, I was wiggling like a octpus when the thing went up high in the air!

But here is the funny part - when we went back for another ride on Tower of terror, after that ride was riden, we discovered that after the photo shoot, a dude behind us, held up a small card or a photo of something which is impossible to see closer, when the photo shoot was taken - the dude got in trouble for it! and guess what? After he was asked to get off, we all including us got a free ride! Awesome!

I am on the left side, second back row, with the rock sign holding up... you might see me.

After that, we checked out the photos, it turned out I bought the good photo witht the dude posting the card in the photo, Haha. Yep, I bought another photo of the same ride, but in big size. I will show you when I get home. < --- As I said, the photo in big size is the same one above.

To be continued.....

We went onto the last ride of the day, which was the big drop where we wanted to get the best photo but it was a good ride at the second time -i the photo turned out bad so we bought the one was taken in the morning instead.

And that was the day that ended witha beautiful pink sunset along the way home with pit stop to baskin and robbins ice cream store!

Before we left, here is the two photos of us at Dreamworld before we headed back home.

Wow alot of fun for sure! Reminds of the time I went to Six Flags Over St. Louis. Sadly though we spent more time in line than actually riding anything. And Lord it was bloody hot!

Long Blog 3

....Tuesday 22nd July:

I went to the surfers paradiase City today, and we all grabbed lunch when we arrived there, and we went to these small rides, I went to the 'Vomatron" ride, it was good, bit scary though but I got a photo too!

Later, we went to bowling, I assumed that I would win but fortunately, I did, and I told my friend so! First game 109 points and the second 180! Whoo, I beat the girls,

Before the bowling event, we went to the tallest tower in Gold Coast, called Q1, me and my friend Kris went on the top floor (77th Floor) and it was told that the elevator was the fastest in the world. I was on the top floor within 2 minutes.

Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th July - Rained on both days and my friends were gone to work so I chilled at home, watching DVDs allday, it was relaxing, haha.

Friday 25th July Was supposed to meet Caineone of my deaf friends but turned out that he had to go to lismore. So me and my friend went to brisbane city by train, she lost her wallet on the bus, but was found soon after, what a great relief! Went for a walk around, had lunch then went down to Southbank where I went to her old University - Griffith University, (Southbank campus) I know, many deafies go there - depends on the campus and whatnot.

Before I went over to Southbank, my friend took this photo

efgho7.jpg

And then again, it rained, when we were walking over to the art gallery where the piscasso and his collection were held (Koala, Matilida, and Sherrie they are still there until 14th September!) it was awesome and I bought the book for my dad's birthday present.

We went back to Goodna and chilled home for a bit then went to Goodna RSL, it was the shittest RSL I have ever been in my life, the food was gross - the food I ordered was soggy. But the beers are excellent overall.

My friend did a good korake there, and was asked to attend the semi finals! We finally got back home around midnight. I was a little drunk after 5 free beers, friend's housemate bought for me. LOL

Saturday 26th July

Packed and went back to Gold Coast Airport, caught the flight back to Sydney, it was a boring trip, even it was only for more than a hour. Arrived, caught the train to Central from the airport, where I had to change trains to North Shore... arrived at my aunts place, sore from carry the large bag all over to my aunts place. My aunts car was broken so I had to catch the train, but I didn't complain.

Later, went to meet my friends for dinner, ended up having maccas. But the funny thing, I and my friend from Sydney made a bet, where "we assumed that my friend would be married within 10 years" so the bet was a deal - winners take $50 - it was signed and witnessed, on a clean napkin and it is not allowed to be opened by July 26th 2018.

we went over to the bar where the party was held. It was good. Caught up with everyone again and renewed with my ex friends.

Sunday 27th July

Arrived home yesterday afternoon, tired and exhausted!

More photos coming later in the week.
