Robocop... Remake?

A remake of Robocop? They should create a new sequel from Robocop 2 instead.

I guess have to wait and see how the Robocop remake movie ends up if it did went ahead.

Any of you ever see Robocop 4?
I've never heard of Robocop 4. But I know there was the TV series as well as the animated series.

I have to admit it, Robocop sucks. Why bring one of the best cops from the dead and use him as the ulimate weapon from the police department. I guess they were so desperate and in great need of needing him to prevent anymore crimes in the city...of course hes dead but still alive with the machines in his body and all. He has a wife and a kid behind and never really get to see them personally when he still have his grave stone somewhere. All three Robocop movies were horrible. Bad acting, weird ass stories, and such. Plus, he always moves so robotic and slow its almost embrassassing to see how he does it in action cause it looks so obviously fake.

The Terminator is definetly alot better, in my opinon.

So...since you are talking about the remake of Robocop...well, lets see if they can really improve that from the crappy story and a good cast of actors.

Robocop should be completely different then.

I think it would proably be better if Robocop isnt even human at all...or ever was. Just...a 100% complete robot, you know?

Maybe it would be less fucked up that way lol.

Never like Robocop movies maybe the first one, it was okay

Not much interested in watching the remake of it. Seems to me many more movies are doing remake and it will either be a 50-50, a success or a failure.

I foresee the remake to be a failure remake

They tried that... and FAILED!

The scenes where, in the first movie, Robocop was in an abandoned steel mill and Clarence Boddicker (sp?) used the crane to exact wrath. They were taken down the street in Pennsylvania. When the movie came out, many in the area went to look for familiar landmarks.

Robocop 2 was alright. I couldn't sit still through it. I saw Robocop 3 a month ago and . . . well, I couldn't sit through it, too.

Sequels are, to me, a sign of Hollywood not being able to come up with something better (or original) and so Hollywood digs through the past.

Robocop 4? No kidding. I'll wait, like with Robocop 3, until I just happen find it.

just proves that hollywood is getting lame and out of originality. Everything you see now its a comic book turned movie, a remake, or a video game getting the jump to the big screen. Theres no need to remake robocop. The original was fucking awesome. But whatever.
