Rasmussen’s latest daily poll shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18 .

Funny thing though, this took George Bush almost six years to get to this level on job approval. Obama’s own miracle and messiah complex managed to earn it in 14 months. Hallejuah!

Yeah,

The thing we have to remember is: While the country is in "shambles" and our citizens demands changes for better and not seeing it instantly will just bring a new president's ratings down quickly.

And he's putting all of his eggs into one basket...this stupid health care thing of his. Name one major bill he's passed so far.

is it common to pass one major bill in President's first year?

I dont like this health care thing.

But I can name one major bill he passed - the recovery act

just did some quick search. Obama's first major bill signed - "Lilly Ledbetter Wage Bill" (a major step forward for pay equity between men and women)

Let me rephrase it, ever since Obama focused his effort on passing the health care bill by putting all of his eggs (time) into one basket, what other bills, major bills, has he passed during that time? Seems like over the last year all I've heard was about trying to pass a health care bill and with so much effort and time spent on this he seems to have neglected other priorities.

I can agree on this. I get emails from the white house and they all are about the health care thing. Sometimes other things, but mostly health care.

Also, let's not forget, Obama was focused on getting the health care reform underway since day 1.

There you go...relying on polls again!:laugh2:

First they are accurate, then they aren't accurate, then they are accurate. You change your evaluation to suit your current position. So much for credibility. NOT.

Can you provide an example where he said polls were not accurate? Just curious not argumentative. I just haven't seen Koko make that claim personally.

Also your statement in bold is confusing. Usually "so much for....." is said with sarcasm. So "so much for credibility" would mean there was no credibility. But then there is the "Not" afterward. Kinda comes off as a double negative.......are you saying he has credibility? Maybe it was just a typo.

Not trying to argue....just making sure it is clear:ty:

Sorry you were confused. No, I am not saying he has credibility. And there were several posts some time ago where he discounted the validity of polls. I, too, have an excellent memory.:P

No confusion here. I was pretty sure you had misspoke.

I haven't seen Koko discount a poll from a credible pollster......I thought it would be interesting to see one......no biggie

Nope. Didn't misspeak. But perhaps you misinterpreted.:dunno:

Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it didn't occur. There are many of us that do remember it. It was a poll that reflected his credibility, as a matter of fact. And he discounted the validity, all the way claiming validity for other polls. You can't have it both ways. Either polls are valid, or polls are not valid. They can't be both.

I'm not fear about Obama's approval rating to become similar as G.W. Bush but pretty odd job for Obama has done with approval rating, sometime, it does make so sad.

I remember that very clearly. That way back then.
