Hi there!!!
Kim, my soon to be 2 years old calico cat gave birth to her 2 kittens at one hour ago...  Danny excited me with wonderful news as I just got out of car... (On my way to home from work) telling me that Kim just had 2 kittens. Danny wrote down the date of Kittenīs birth and whatīs time... 1st kitten born at 4.05 pm and other kitten - 4.15 pm. My hubby told me what happened... Kim havenīt eat since morning and let soon to be 20 years old tabby Sussi ate her cat food. Kim kept on miaw miaw... and walk around my hubbyīs feet and her claw on his leg... He has the feeling Kim has labor... (We prepared box with blanket for her in basement last Saturday) so my hubby got box back to kitchen... Kim jump on the box and has kitten few minutes... Thatīs Kim had kittens!!!! Danny & my hubby watched her gave the birth to kittens in kitchen... I donīt have digital camera but normal camera. I just took the picture of them... I will add here when I have photos. The color of kitten is grey... How long will we touch kittens? I told my boys to not touch kittens but how long?

I am not expert the kittens but I had before kitten that the cat was give birth 7 kittens. When my mom and my sisters and also I that we were gone out for the day then we came back home that someone was at our old home cuase of the cat having give birth and give my mom the notes what the yellow notes said about the cat have birth 7 kittens and I was gonna pat but my mom said NO! have to wait in few weeks.
So I think wait till few weeks cause let the cat feed them till they get bigger  I guess eheh maybe you can find thur the interent for information about how long can touch the kitten

Congratulations!
About touching the kittens.. Give it a few days then you and your husband only can touch the kittens. make sure your kids don't bother it cuz the mother cat will move the kittens around. Oh.. the last kitten will be a runt so keep an eye on the last one. Most of the time, the mother cat won't feed the last kitten so its more like the last one will be the blacksheep. if the runt has a hard time trying to eat make sure you move the other kittens away and let the last kitten eat.

He pissed off but realizes to understand that hes too small to hold by himself. Anyway, now hes gentle to hold each kittens at one time. I am bit worry when the kittens gets older. I dunno wanna my son to choke them. Heh |

Of course I would LOVE to keep ALL of them....  They are tooooo cuteeee...We discussed today about keep them... Danny want keep black kitten for himself and Alan want grey tabby kitten but I told them that I want to keep only ONE but my hubby agreed with them to keep 2  Surprise, we have no problem with Sussi for look at kittens while Kim gone to basement for her business... It look like Sussi is aunty and watch them... wow... I took few pictures of them...

Here is pictures of kittens
It look like that 4 Kitten have 3 different fathers...
 2 kittens - mixed tabby with blue russian one kitten - black one kitten - full pure blue russian (few cream spot on her face after her mother Kim) I know which kittensīs fathers are... One black cat One mixed blue russian with tabby cat One full blue russian cat Her father could be full blue russian cat but she has 3 cream spot on her head (after her mother Kim)... That kitten, I want to keep...   This is an exact example picture of kittenīs father who lives 4th neighbor of my house. This is an exact example, black kitten will like this... because she has a little white spot on her chest. Danny, my eldest son want to have her... "black" is his favorite color...
 This is an exact example what I have 2 mixed blue russian and tabby kittens like this... Alan, my youngest son want to have him (2 same kittens are male)   I donīt mind to keep 2 kittens of 4 kitten but I want to have pure blue russian kitten (see picture above with few cream spot on her face)... My boys have different wishes... Black - Danny and pure blue russian mixed with tabby - Alan...  Me - pure blue russian with cream spot on her face... Its still plenty time until 6 to 7 weeks time......Original pictures of Kim and her kittens come follow....

3 days old kittens  2 weeks old kittens.         Then you can compare the example pictures of pure blue russian cat, mixed pure blue russian cat with tabby cat and black cat...

Sure hope Liebling has a fence. I have a small room ( laundry room) to shut door so I dunno have to worry aobut kittens running all over. I dunno wanna to accident hit any of them arghhh
about our grandchildren...
