Years ago I had skeleton earmolds like that. It hurt and caused me to get constants infections. Now I have a gel mold. I think it is silicon. Much easier and comfortable. I put a picture. The aids are just in Ear Gear covers. I have a big collection of these.

I dunno maybe it is more of a canadian thing? i dunno but i've never had any probs with them! and they don't get itchy really ..sometimes i have to take it out for a min or too to scratch inside but then i stick em back in

I have hard skeleton molds right now. I used to have soft skeleton molds but I was allergic to them. I have some feedback issues with them though, keep in mind my loss is 105dB-120dB up to 1000Hz and then no response beyond that. My aids are LOUD! I am going to get full shell molds sometime next month. Whenever I can get to my audie after work!

You can talk to your audiologist about your earmold allergy. I think it's best for you to get a Hypoallergenic for earmold.

I got a link for you.

There have 3 different kinds of material for earmold. Like
* Acrylic Materials
* Vinyl (Polyvinylchloride)
* Silicone Materials

Silicone Materials :: Westone

That is what I thought, I have silicone because of allergies. They are much better for me. Way less problems than before.

I decorate my aids differently everyday! I have a bunch of sticky-backed rinestones that I use, or I make stickers that cover the whole thing to match any outfit or a theme of some sort!

do the stickers leave residue or anything? Not that I want to use stickers cuz....well...I just wouldn't, but I do like couple diff colours to have option...kinda like same blue to match the blue shade of my eyes- and I like blue clothes, or yellow...kinda goofy...sorry

Oh. I got it! HA stand for Hearing Aid. Lolz. Silly me. As far as I know...I have the whole in the ear canal hearing aid. So there isn't much decorating to do on it. Hehehe.

yes, those of us with our BTE's or CI BTE's can get a variety of colors/ designs to suit ones desires to express themselves and turn their HA's into somewhat of a fashion accessory to themselves. Nope, you cant realy do that stuff with in the ear stuff.

Speaking of HA fashion, I looked around the internet and found one website which has a picture of Gold Hearing Aid. Lolz. This Gold Hearing Aid does has something sparkling on it.
