Come one come all.

Ask Jiro anything about Korea, Koreans, Yorkie dogs, anything you want .

I voluteer him. :mad2:

:mad2: I'm not sure if I can but I will do my best. I moved to America when I was 3 so you could say I'm very very Americanized. Americanized enough to forget most of my Korean heritage :mad2:

ASK AWAY! :mad2:

Do you have a Yorkie dog because of allergies, or just like that breed?

nobody in my family has dog allergy. I finally came to peace with myself because I didn't get over my dog's death which was several years ago. So I told my family that I wanted a dog and my mom wanted one too. We didn't have a specific breed in mind but we had "parameters." I had to find one that my mom would agree with because she does not like big dogs and some other features. then...... I happened to see this puppy that caught my eye.

Do you believe that the war between north and south are over since 1953? I think not, they are still pointing their guns each other at 38th.

nope not over. technically - it's just a truce, not official declaration that war is over. there are little skirmish now and then. most of North Koreans still think the world is out to get them. sad, right?

Have you been back to Korea since you immigrated to the US?

technically - we didn't immigrate to USA. We came here because of fine facility in NYC for deaf called League for the Hard of Hearing. At that time in 1980's, Korea was ill-equipped for this issue. I think my parents didn't think we'd stay here this long so... our roots in America got deepened. I became naturalized.... 3 years ago?

Were you born in Seoul or elsewhere in S. Korea?

born in Seoul. Thanks god I don't live in Seoul now. It's extremely congested and extremely populated. It's like cramming NY+NJ+MD population into NYC. :mad2:
