What was the last movie you watched?

just saw Blue Lagoon, the 2012 remake lol, well its a much softer version of the story 'what might happen if stuck on island and learn to fall in love' thematic, nice film...it is a psychological film on another yet subtle level, i kind of like it, its nice and sweet , it was a perfect xmas day film, cuz im so bloody fucking sick of xmas films..
 
i watch spaticus yesterday and saw a cock up,after all slaves have been killed one in far background gets up and looks at his wrist watch...seen that film hundreds of times so i watch films to catch these mistakes now

Lol oh yeah. I love catching mistakes on any film But when I look on imdb which they have a section of revealing mistakes, I didn't even notice them most of time. I wonder what does that say about me watching movies for a storyline? Did I miss the details of a story as much as I missed the mistakes? =\

good observation, its about the matching of the story and plot and digetic elements of the story's narration. Thats why some films arent steady in the unfolding, others are deliberate to 'add the chaos of the real world to it' Hollywood are very stringent and tend to hold audience on ONE particular thing, if other actors are jsut passerby nothing more...

other errors can inclue climax, or anti climax being missed by no-so-bright audiences or -un-accented audience of a particular genre(s) <=these days we get frequent attempts at genre mixing so that also can attribute to in-effectiveness of holding up the story or even surprise element being illhandled...but suspense films tend to have those surprise factor handled well mainly because the story itself (as in original) are already there, its matter of adaption (so errors can still show up but less so as the story guides film makers), but NEW films with New stories are prone and at same time at mercy and blessed to the film art....

Fortunately, the DVDs do have captioning - I remember it on TV with captions too, so maybe it's just the station that carried it in your area. Unlike my last film, Searching for Mozart, which claimed to be subtitled in English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and maybe Korean - but it wasn't....I was so bummed, I wrote the company that distributed it. They gave me a new copy which did include the subtitles, so I can at least follow it in Italian.

I saw

Rocket Science (2007), this is a fine film, really worth watching, its about growing up.

as Id quote from ImdB, and at that i absolutely agree with it, it is really quite a rare charm, watchable, its pace matches well to the intended effects, its not too hollywoodish (thankfully), and I bloody like it.

"There are plenty of movies about high school, and they're full of comeuppance, humor targeted for that age, discovery of sex, et cetera, but there is very very rarely a movie like Rocket Science, a movie about that particular time in your life when you were just growing into yourself and you didn't even know it, and you hardly look back at that time because of the unawareness of self at that point and, hopefully, the growth since then. This is an important little film that, though it isn't receiving the attention I feel it would and should get with a wider and longer release, time will be kind to, with great hope."
 
'life of pie',lastnight again....i recommend this film so much even better than the book...people come out of cinimar in tears even though ending not sad but it makes you revue beliefs..amazing film most of film is very visual

Imagine, showing shaved fannys, peirced, of fingers parting the flaps showing the clit, or peeing or even actual cumshot in actual non-porn films...i wouldnt be surprised, and no not the chicken leg LOL
