This looks cool

I'm still waiting for jetpacks. That would be so cool.

It looks like it needs lots of open space.

It won't work in Charleston.

We can't use subways either because of the high water table and low sea level.

yea - it won't work in NYC either because we don't have those kind of infrastructure. Everything's underground. This solution is typically applicable for major metropolitan area where everything is tightly packed together so maybe Boston?? or Chicago??

I don't know about Boston. Remember The Big Dig problems?

the way our bus drivers drive? it's much more dangerous than this concept. the worst part? if we get in accident with the bus - we're held liable for it most of time because the law requires you to yield to bus but the bus drivers drive aggressively and each stop causes a traffic jam and/or accident.

True since that thing stays on the same route and has marked "rails" or something, pretty much people would less likely get accident with one but still would get in accident with one. The Houston light rail was poorly designed that many car accidents occured because they they designed cars to go on left lane to make a left turn ON the rails. In Seattle, it's much safer design since it's not on the rails. Only when you turn left across the rails.

Let's see how smart these drivers are over there. :hmm:
