Prove me wrong that Deaf people will succeed in Hollywood.

I am a filmmaker seeking Cast and Crew for short film. I have my film script. If you have any equipment or crew that you work with, please feel free to bring them along. If you want to show me a demo reel of some or one of the projects that you have directed, that will be fine.

I will be filming this project for a month. Food, Lodging, and Transportation
will be provided. This will be a fun opportunity.

BTW, please lose the EGO.

CAST -
3 Females and 2 Males ages 21 - 40
Actors for Extras.
Interpreters who can hear, talk and sign.


CREW NEEDED

Director
Producer who can handle contracts
PA's
SOUND TECHNICIAN with boom mic and wireless mic.
Cameraman or D.P. with H.D. camera
Investors, if you want to help.
Any other volunteers are welcome....

I mean like Respond to me if you would like to make a film...

I've got 3 hearing people who said they will help me make a film so far
but no deaf people... see that is why Deaf people don't succeed.

Counting Shel skews the poll because she says it is not her forte.

I have an answer but don't have the time right now to present my side, so don't count me one way or the other.

Oh really? What about this? See below what you have stated in other thread.

The plane ticket, Hotel fees, foods, and transportation, I only went
once and dislike it. And plus the Deaf films were not good. I spent
over $1,000....
I wish I use that money to go to DisneyWorld... that would be more fun.

Did you change your mind about spending your money? Using SSI money? Tsk, tsk...

I was struggling with my scanner...

So here some of my scripts....

I know my scanner is cheap...

It is the best I can do for now.

can you give us a plot summary? Is this a porn flick? the dialog is almost par with a porn flick.

is that all you got, it is not enough to make a film. :giggle: I don't think she will make a summary of this script. I doubt it.

Every story that can be told, has already been told. It's just the details that are different.

I guess if you won't give us a plot summary, I'll have to guess.

hmm .

is it..

radioactive/toxic trash turnes garbage men into zombies? (the lesson we learn is to never grow up to be a garbage man, and be a truck driver like your mamma wanted you to be) ?

a sappy love story where a "poor little rich girl" falls in love with a garbage man? (we learn that even garbage men can love)

How about the pretty girl in the story first rejects our hero because he's a lowly garbage man, but then one day he finds the winning lotto ticket in the trash and he's an instant millionaire. then when the pretty girl comes to him wanting him now, but he turns her away and runs off with the bag lady that truly understood him.

I'm still guessing it's a porn flick. The garbage man character is important, we can teach people about proper disposal of used prophylactics, (don't flush them!) Educational and erotic! ;)
