While I agree that people have a right not to vote... it begs the question of thr validity of their complaints...
Although on a side note... the people do not really vote for the president... they are just voicing who they want to win... the electives are the ones that actually vote for the president...
 
In Maine anyone can request the form for a ballot, even by phone or internet and no particular need or reason for the absence. Tons of people vote that way around here, keeps the long lines down.

I think the only requisite is the ballot has to be requested by a certain date, and if you can't make that date there are some exceptions where you can still get a ballot.

I've never voted that way, I like going to the polls, not too crowded in my small town.

No it doesnt..people have valid conplaints, regardless if they want to participate in a sham system or not.
I dont gamble, it doesnt mean my critique of casinos is invakid because i dont play..
Its valid regardless.
Same with crazypaul or my opinions.
Just because we see the sham for what it is, and refuse to play,doesnt mean ouf opinions are less valid and those willingly hoodwinked..
If one can live without a slave, one can live withoit a master..

Because we voted these people in the office from city council to the President. Voters get what they want... who asked for the vote? People.

And sometime voters don't get what they voted for. This happen years ago in NH ,a candidate said he would not allow a nuke plant to be build in NH and he won the election . We now have Seabrook which is 10 miles from my city. So I don't trust any candidate, they're going to say what the people want to hear to get their vote. I still vote and hope for the best .

Thats just looking at it skin deep, it ignores the mechinations, the vested interests, it ignores the deep state, which exists no matter who holds the token symbolic office.
If your statement was really true, then for illegal outrages such as the invasion of iraq, as an example, that left hundreds of thoussnds dead, and destroyed a nation, over the pretext of a lie, then eveey american is culpible for that slaughter.
But its not the case.
Americans didnt vote for that slaughter. They had no say really, vested interests, dicttated that, regardless of what joe six pack really had to say..
Same in regards to the "deep state", the massive survalience of american citizens, of which we only no a fraction, joe six pack wasnt aware of this, that had to.be shown him, by a guy who worked inside, and spilled the beans, then.fled for his life...
And still nothing changes...
Because the specticle of circuses continues, and really the above is hardly the tip of the ice burg. Its just points to consider, The issue is the system is essentially a game and looked at as such by those in power or who want power, and due to that more often then not, the interests of 7 million dollor a deal lawyers, or arms manufacturers, or political party power brokers usually isnt much the same.interests as you, or me, trying to get through life the best we can

But you also do not own or have stock in casinos... thus your critique of a casino may be correct you also by default do not have interest in one...
While, political games are played, at the expense of the populace, the people do have the ability to place and remove person's that affect the motions... I will admit that most do hoodwink the voters to get in... there are some out there that want to make things right...
I am curious of your thought though... master and slave?...

Those who want to make things right, will never be permitted to, what we see, really isnt wha oe is in control.
Regarding casino, i dont need stock to hwve a valid critique, same goes with a shwm system, i dont need to play to know the house in the end always wins, regardless if at times it pays out..
We need to look wt where real power lies,and thats not at the bollot box, its not. Thats a symboloceffort, that allows a preasure release in that peoplw bekieve they are actually chosing there masters, and allows a change of face, but thats just skin.deep, the mask changes...
The faces of true real power,those vested interests remain..

Well darn... you give me nothing to debate with that one... :D I could try, but you are correct ... however... (guess I am trying lol) As it stands now, theoretically, the people who do want to make a change could; if the people who voted would wake up, before it is too late...
As it stands, people listen to media which is run by purse holders so whoever has the most money will win... people do not do their own research into "contestants" so the people who want to do right are not known.
Those leading have done a good job and planned things well...
It is a wishful thought, I know, but what could be...never will be allowed... I would go for a cabin in the mountains...

it's incredibly easy for any corrupted politician to win the votes because they know people who "care" do not vote. so easy that it only takes a couple of large union groups to vote for them and that's it.

less bitching, more voting. that's all it takes. so yea - the system is not corrupted... your way of thinking is corrupted. if this country is so corrupted and rigged... then what the heck do we need voting for???

The reason why voting is needed is simply its allot easier to control a system with preasure release mechinisms designed into it, then a system of no presesure release..

It's that way too in my small city , the line is never very long @ sunshine I sure don't think Donald is stupid , and it's a mistake to think that about him.
 
It looks like I have go to primary election and pick a Republican ballot to pick someone and throw Trump in garbage.

I believe that Trump won't win the southern states and possibly western states so most southerners goes with Huckabee (ugh!!!) or Ted Cruz.
