Do you *wish* there is ONLY Heaven and there is NO Hell?

I *DO*...I sometimes feel that God is *demanding* for us to choose either accept or reject Him...If rejects Him, of course I go straight to Hell for eternity life...I accept and believe in Him...I love God with all of my heart..

I wish there is NO Hell for us at all...Actually, God created Hell for Satan/Demons only..but It is free will for us to believe in God or reject God...If reject God, then it is our free will to go to hell...It is not God's wishes for us to go to hell...It is about our choices...

I just wish when God kicked Satan out of Heaven...that God put Satan in Hell for Eternity and send it away...so We dont have to deal with Satan/Hell...

Let's open discussion with our opinions about this..:)

Um, no, I don't wish there was no hell because I've no reason to. I don't believe in hell, therefore, it does not exist to me.

I'm sorry but it does exist...It's real...It's the fact in the Bible...Why don't you ask God to show you that He exists?

When you die someday...you happen to go straight to hell...there is no turning back...it is too late for you to get out...Have you thought about it? Pretty scary isnt it? Just think about it...;)

Just because a book says it's real doesn't mean it is real. The Lord of the Rings books say that the One Ring will give me ultimate power, but the book is a work of fiction. A well thought out book of fiction, nonetheless.

Just because people live and die for a book or ideology doesn't mean it's real. Therefore, there exists quite the chance that hell is something made up in order to give "God fearing Christians" something to motivate them.

Don't just believe the bible because someone tells you and because you've got this feeling that you want to believe. You can defend your beliefs all you want by demonizing everyone else and calling them "Pharisees" but that doesn't make the bible any more real than a collection of works WRITTEN and PUT TOGETHER by MEN.

I never said that God doesn't exist, just that there's no Hell. There's a lot of bibles, a lot of holy books out there. Most of them don't suggest the existence of a "hell".

I, for my part, am not a Christian. The text of Christian scripture does not reflect my religious beliefs, therefore, in my world-view, there is no "hell". This is a concept that typical Christians have difficulty grasping because they just assume that their beliefs are held universally (or ought to be) which is anything but the case.

Are you afraid of the Loch Ness Monster? The Abominable Snowman?

If hell existed, maybe I would be scared--But if you're scared of something that doesn't exist, you're just a fool. Since I don't believe in the existence of a hell, I can't be scared of it.

Calling everyone who disagrees with you "Pharisees" could also be seen as Anti-Semitic depending on who you talk to.

I wonder if not believing in hell is like eating chocolate and not expecting to get fat??
Mate.. that'd be bliss.. life without consequence. I'd have double chocolate chocoburgers soaked in chocolate overnight, with deepfried caramel icecream.

Anyway..
I'm with you coloravalanche.

Um... No. Not believing in the existence of a hell is just that, not believing in the existence of a hell. It does not mean one does not have other beliefs, it just means that that's a believe the person does not hold.

I, for example, believe in karma.

Ew... Yucky.

God made a decision to set between Heaven and Hell. Because GOD knows who will go to heaven or Hell but does not tell us who. Because He is Omnipower, Omniscience, & Omnipotence. He is also predestination because He is our creator and know what will be happening next.

"Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."
Jeremiah 1:4, 5

Speaking of Hell issue, The Bible already shows that Hell is real existing. We have no choice to avoid hell if we do not believe in Jesus. We have to make a choice if we want to go to Heaven, have to accept Jesus as your Personal Savior because he is our Mediator which we have to go through him to Heaven first. Therefore I do personally believe in heaven and hell.

"I am the Truth, the Way & the Life. No one came to the Father but thru ME." Jesus said In John 14:6

Remember that Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

Throwstones for Jesus

I believe that Heaven is upstairs somewhere and I believe that Hell is not on earth but dark place somewhere.

Heaven is not somewhere in the universe. Hell is not below this surface. Even Sadducees (religious leaders) doesn't believe in hell. But Jesus gave the illustration what hell is like and who the place should be, which is Satan and demons. Jesus came to die for us on the cross to bring everyone to be with the Lord forever. But sadly, many refuse and follow mans ideaology to pervert the mind of lots of people from allowing God to lead them. Whether peopple believe or not, hell still exist. No, what Jesus said its not man madeup of it. Just like Santa Claus, easter bunnies and etc, which causing people confuse thinking that's may be the Bible is likewise. Christ in you made a difference what u see than without Christ. Jesus was risen, but other religion is still in the grave. When times comes, Jesus will return to bring those who are His have a new body and be with Him forever. It is not just for christian themselves, the gospel need to be carry out for the unbelievers. Like I said, christians job is to share, and God work the rest in the person life.

I don't believe in hell NOR heaven.

Many of you just wish there's life after death. Remember, once you die, you cease to exist. You won't know you were existing here. Just like you didn't know you were born to exist.

Life after death or before birth is just an illusion that we all want to believe in despite no evidence to support it.

If I were God, I wouldn't force people to choose me or Satan. I wouldn't even care if they believe in me or not. All I care is their morals and if they lead a moral life. But again, to be fair to everyone, none should get in heaven or hell.

If, God created Heaven, then there's Hell, too. I believe there's Heaven and Hell out there. Hell is the MOST frightened place to go to. Very terrifyin' ! In Hell, you will hear the people's SCREAM forever without stoppin'. They gnashed their teeth forever. There's no 2nd chance after death.

Yes I second that.

Bible said

Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fires Rev. 20:15

and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matt 13:50

and cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. Matt 25:30

The smoke of their toument ascendeth up for ever and ever and they have no rest day nor night. Rev. 14:1

God does NOT force people to choose. God gave them freewill. Whether you believe or not, it will not change anything. There is a fact, not matter of opinion about Heaven or Hell. I know, " give me proof". There will be proof, when you die. Sadly, that's not what God wants. Whose fault? The person who refuse to believe. Its not you that Godls wrath, it is sin that still hold against you lead God's wrath. Jesus bored all of your sins, no other religion has that. There is no pay off without Christ. With Him, your sins been paid off. The Blood atonement. Without the Blood, still remain under condemnation. Try to frighten people? No, God does want you to be fright, He wants YOU. Sin is the one trying to fright you, bec sin is holdoing against you, Jesus wants you to live with Him forever. It is not God's force to make you decide.

Define hell.

I do not believe in firery hell alike burning people forever but I do believe hell exist only for certain people who did horrible things against God. I had this awakening dream of seeing three men blew up the tall buildings (few months before 9/11) .They died then they were alive in different time but this time completely alone. They trapped inside that place , with no one around except themselves. Not even God welcome them nor the satan, they locked in that place forever for what they did sin against people. This message were clearly for me to witness what will happen to those future suicide bombers.

I talked about this subject with my rabbi today... One of the biggest problems with Christianity is that it's obsessed with the afterlife rather than where we live today--So obsessesd that it's complacent with the evil that exists in the world and doesn't work very hard to fight against it.

Well, as long not believing in hell, then you making God a liar. What Jesus described what hell is like. His grace is still giving you, but u resist and fall into believe humanist or fallacy of man of all the philosophies. I trust the Lord, not man and men's theories. The Word of God is the Truth, nothing but the Truth and the whole Truth. Many doesn't know what the Bible really is about, and what its for and the purpose of the Word. Many look only thenegative side of what has happen and get misconception of who God is and He is doing everything He can and that's what Jesus was here for, but still the stubborness of people rejecting Him and hold on to human theories and pervert the minds of people to twist and get a way with by all kinds of wrong view of who God is. Whether you believe or not, its not my authority and I have no place to make you believe, and God doesn't give me the authority to do, Just like Jesus on earth doesn't make pharisees and some jewish to believe, they have the choice. Tho they saw their own eyes, still human rationalize and pervert and decieved people and that been carry on todays.

That's odd--I thought most people complain that Christians are too involved with the present world and fighting evil. Most of the criticisms of Christianity that I read in AD are about Christians wanting to impose their morality on others.

Complaints:

*Christians want laws against drinking, adultery, pornography, abortion, fornication, gambling, strip clubs, and prostitution.

*Christians support wars against terrorism.

*Christians support severe penalties against murderers, rapists, and pedophiles.

*Christians support modest dress, clean language, and family movies.

*Christians are too judgmental.

*Christians preach too much against sin.

*Christians are too involved in politics.

So, are Christians too involved with fighting the world's evils, or not involved enough?
