At the federal level, News Corp.'s political action committee, funded by donations from employees, has slightly favored Democrats over Republicans in recent congressional races, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.
The RGA's single-largest contributor this election is the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, which has given slightly more than $2.5 million. Other large corporate donors to the RGA this year include Texas-based home builder Perry Homes, which gave $2.5 million, and Wichita, Kan., chemical company Koch Industries Inc., at $1.05 million.
The Democratic Governors Association draws more of its large donations from unions, including the American Federation of State, City and Municipal Employees, which has given $3.2 million this year.
The owner of Fox News is also an owner of the WSJ which published this finding. I'd say that's pretty "fair and balanced" to begin with. They, the WSJ, could've opted to not write this one up. But they didn't.
By the way, this has to do with the owner, not the news media, in donating money.
Thanks for posting.
From your article
In Blue----- Hmm Michigan. Isn't that where Detroit and obama saved GM are???? Guess they aren't happy
In Green----- Unions.....
It would not make any differences cuz alot of liberal journalists from CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS would donate alot of money to Democrat politicians.
They are just organization.
Michigan Chamber of Commerce
I am VERY familiar with the Chamber of Commerce
Yup, pro-business organization.
No doubt about GOP is pro-business.
Mission Statement
"To advance human progress through an economic, political and social system based on individual freedom, incentive, initiative, opportunity, and responsibility."
Also, the CEO of GE, the owner of NBC is on Obama's debt commission as well. Imagine Bush did that with Foxnews.
Why not?
Read again....it was a question not a statement.....Rhetorical question....
Are you talking about Dave M. Cote? He's the Chairman and CEO of Honeywell. If so, he was never the CEO of GE. He was only the CEO of GE Appliances.
I don't know why are you ask a simple question.
GM is part of automaker business so yes.
