Geez, and who said that the kids are growing up too fast? Well now you see why the kids are probably not doing anything like this (playing cop and robber games or any other games that the adults thinks are too scandalous). Sometime you got to let the kid be a kid instead of intimidating them.

Jazzy, I do understand your point but in this issue, it is about an hug which should have not went overboard. I would understand if that child had been a little bit older and he/she could have been taught the difference between right and wrong. You can always be keen and warn your child to act properly but even though, in this case that teacher aide went way too far.

This reminds me of the time they suspended a few little boys for playing cops-&-robbers during recess. Apparently, the school feared that the little boys were promoting use of guns by making the gesture of guns with their fingers while running around.

Gosh..I remember playing that game when I was a kid at school. We could even bring our G.I. Joe toys to school and play "war" with them on the playground. That was 30 years ago and I cant even imagine what the schools would do if a kid brought those kinds of toys to school. *sigh*

yea, I loved playing with boys' toys as a kid rather than playing with dolls.

Yes I agree with u, this child should not be punish harshly. For one he is still baby but I also trying to say he needs not to do this by rubbing his face against teacher's breasts. I have two boys so I do know what I am talking about. I had to teach one of my boys when he touched someone else breast, no no. I find this sad really but I feel this boy should be teach to avoid alike this again. My friend's son was doing this since he was baby now he got in big trouble worst. His parents think it was funny and cute but now they are sorry.

Oh please!!! that is soo silly from the teacher .. 4 yrs old boy is just only a hug like bye bye to the teacher then go on the bus and goes home to see his mom. But geez that is so silly it is not sexual contact and/or sexual harassment.

Teacher Aide would be  to hear from everyone said 4 yrs old boy is just a hug cause 4 yrs old boy is too young dont know what it is.

As many here know, I am a school resource officer ( a cop that works in a school). I just read the first thread to a guidance counsler and two other guidance office employess and they all were shocked! They all agree that the teachers aid was in the wrong.

Yeah... That teacher's aid got a dirty mind... poor little innocent boy...

Its one of craziest thing i ever had heard since the gal in Florida got arrested.. they are gettin worse day by day .. sadden to hear that

I dont think it is the teachers aid having a ditry mind. I would guess that she is a high maintainace girl that is attention starved. She saw the chance to ge ta little attention (at the expense of a kid) and did so. What an idiot. I would bet that she is an embarassment to all of her coworkers.

Yea I agree..I dont think the aide has a dirty mind. Either she was a prude or took advantage of the situation as Lillysdad said.

I second that too ...

ya gotta be kidding me?? What the hell's this world coming to?? I'm not even gonna respond to that. 4 years old? Give me a break!!

poor little boy, I agree with everyone.

*sigh* :ugh3:
:stupid: Yea, it is kinda sucks to live in this stupid world! :stupid:

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.
Again, we are jumping to conclusions without knowing the full story. Maybe this child has acted out inappropriately before at school. I know my stepson did at that age. And he had been inappropriately exposed to pornography by his mother. We honestly don't know what this child has been exposed to in his short life. What I do know, is that if he is acting out sexually, it is the school's responsibility to protect other students and staff from his inappropriate behaviors.

But, what if he didnt do that on purpose?
:wiggle:

Maybe the boy learnt that from someone else in his family? I don't think it's HIS fault, he's too young to know what he was doing... but if the matter needs to be addressed they should talk to his parents/guardians and explain that they need to teach him that is wrong. The teacher was just looking for attention or maybe some sexual harassment lawsuit money, I would file a 'suit on the teacher for putting my child through a stressful and embarrassing situation.

Yeah... Teacher seek for $ :rifle:

My God !!!!! Yeah, This is going too far !!!! Liberal wackos at work here.

I have seen plenty of women in supermarkets and grocery stores with their children grabbing their mother's breasts at 4 years old and it does not mean anything. The mothers just say no and the 4 yr. old boys laugh. He does not understand that it is sexual at all. The only thing he understands is the extremely fast reaction of his mother and the reactions of anothers and he thinks it is funny then he throws a 4 yr. old loud crying tantrum after his mother gives him a good quick slap on his hand to show his mother means business.

Well Eve, usually our opinions are based from personal experiences as I remember when I was little girl, my mother and my grandmother would hug me and my face got smothered by their breasts, I didn't think of it as an inappropriate behavior when they didn't realized that they had their breasts into my face, it just happened to be there ....The boy is ONLY 4 years old, he doesn't understand or realized what he had done wrong here....All he did was hug his teacher by showing affection and maybe her breasts got slammed into his face for all I know...

If the school are trying to protect other students and staff from inappropriate behaviors, then perhaps they should ask what his intentions were but unfortunately, none of them made an effort to do so... I think the school is the ONE who jumping to conclusions here without knowing the facts of why this little boy did that instead they went ahead and suspended him without dicussing it with his parents or their 4 years old child...

And next thing you know they may start charging mothers for breastfeeding their babies in front of their children simple because they may think it's inappropriately exposed to pornography...

Or to ban their breastfeedin' to prevent from exposin' their breasts in front of the children.

Some groups did try to get a law passed to ban mothers breastfeeding in public. It became so controversial but it didnt pan out. Thank goodness!
