2011 AllDeaf National Meet

The very west coast (California) to the very east... er.. northeast coast (NYC). Died a bit inside... That's wayyyyyyyy too far and any kind of transportation for me will be $$$.

I'd love to meet with you guys as I barely or never seen them over here my age or older. Only 1 deaf at my school besides me. Enough said. :(
 
Looks like the majority here would like the AD national meet to be in the late summer or fall (July/August/September). :hmm:

If it is August or September so I could go.
 
If at mid or the end of the summer of 2011, I'd seriously consider doing it...and will surprise my husband (hopefully he won't read this) with the trip since his best friend lives in NYC. :)
 
I'm surprised so many people pick Sept. , Isn't that when school starts?

If it's in September and the Yankees are in town I would come up.

2011 being the 10th anniversary of 9/11.....it might be best to avoid that weekend.

not at all. it's best to attend that weekend and pay your respect to the fallen ones. I may be in biker rally that goes thru NYC. It would be quite a sight to see hundreds of bikers going thru - police-escorted.

Exactly.....there will be alot of people there which makes getting around a tad more difficult and makes flying and hotels more expensive.... Fine by me. I was thinking of others.

beside - 9/11 is on Sunday... i think everybody's going home
