My last two pairs of aids were Seimens analogs. The first set I had to send one for rebuild as the audi called it. A few years later I had to send in the other aid. The second set of Siemens analog aids I had for five years hadn't given any trouble yet. The on/off switches were getting worn out...
I think Costco has only had the Phonak brand since April of this year. My audi at Costco seems to get lost sometimes when using the Phonak target software. I have asked questions before and didn't get an answer for them either. I guess my audi don't want to give an "I don't know" answer.
Thanks...
I just returned from Costco for my first follow up visit.
I had my audi up the volume a tad on my right aid and move t-coil+mic custom program to slot 1 for convenience. I also ordered new ear molds and the ComPilot set.
I asked my audi a dumb (to me) question but she didn't know the answer as...
It does take time to get used to the sound of new hearing aids. Each brand of hearing aids have a different sound. I have new hearing aids also with tomorrow being at two weeks wearing them. They did sound different from my old analogs but I've gotten used to the new sounds already.
When...
Glad you got them programmed and can benefit from wearing them. I don't have the same aids as you but background noise Is lower than speech. Same goes for road noise. It seems like you hear speech and noise at the same level. It's possible your audi programmed your aids as analogs where all...
IMO, Costco does perform a very good hearing test. Better than many of the audi/his that I've visited over the years. Maybe they don't have the equipment but I didn't get a tympanogram there.
Of all the audi's and HIS that I've been too over the years I have yet to meet one who wears a...

There are several types of ear molds being made. Bottom line is if your mold is backing out of your ear then you should see your audiologist about this problem as your mold isn't fitting correctly. A correctly fitted mold should stay put once inserted into the ear.
I have molds that backs out...
Oh! So it's a Bluetooth phone?
I saw a Bluetooth cordless phone set at Costco and thought it would work with my aids provided I get the ComPilot set.
Thanks!
I count 26 features that can be programmed into the aids but the question is how many of those 26 are in my aids? Maybe there's only enough room for a certain number of them. I'll ask my audi about this when I go back.
I'll look into using a magnet on my cordless phone to see if that works...
There probably is an image size limit but I don't know what that is... yet.
When an image is oversized we see the yellow bar at the top of the image stating the fact that the image is too large and to click the yellow bar to see the full image.
I normally upload images that are as close to...
The photos may still be loading. When I was on DSL I had to wait until all the photos on the page loaded before I could see which new ones were posted. Some photos load faster or slower than others.
