ASL makes no sense to me when it's written on paper. Although, when the teacher signs it I understand it fully and know exactly what she's talking about. Is that one thing you guys meant by it's meant for visual?

Thanks for saying I have good insight for my age. I don't think all hearing people respect the deaf culture. ASL is my favorite class, it's a different environment from the rest of my classes. I enjoy it. It can be hard though, but I still think the class is fun, and I think my teacher is nice...

As I said before I would pick deaf. I think it'd be easier to deal with turning deaf than blind. Deaf you could just learn ASL and learn to communicate in a different way. Blind I think would be harder because you couldn't see a thing, you couldn't see the people you love or see beautiful scenery.
