I stare at people that are in a group around me. I like to catch what they are saying so I read their lips. I had people that didn't know I was hearing impaired asked why I stare right at the lips n stuff... so I explained that I am partial deaf.. and they understand. I am sure there are people...

I haven't been in school in 15 years (with DHOH) of course, so I haven't been using any signs. I am deaf, but I also have verbal (impairment of course), and would love to have a signing buddy and sign! I miss signing.

That's sad. I would find another vet.

I think any parent who want's a IEP done, may ask so. I had one done twice a year when I was in school.
