I'm Murasaki. I'm 19 years old and a university student in Indiana. I joined this site a while ago, but I'm just coming back after a long hiatus. I'm hard of hearing, and I've been learning ASL for a while now. But I'm nowhere near as fluent as I need to be. I'm looking to make Deaf or ASL...

the next time somebody yells at me, " what?!?! are you deaf?!?!?!?" i'll sign with a smile, "what? are you hearing!?!?!?!?!" sheesh... i hate being yelled at... i mean... it helps sometimes, yeah... like on the phone... funny stories, there. hehe...

if you'd asked me where pterophyta live, how nutrients get to the leaves of trees, what's thigmamorphogenesis, or how turtles mate, i could have helped you.... i've not done that stuff you're talking about in AGES :P maybe... i may not have done it :P sorry

eep! i'm going to the national jump rope competition tomorrow... it's on friday, saturday, adn sunday, but i'm flying to Disney World tomorrow... i don't like flying much......and i'm not ready for this tournament at all :P i'm nervous....

as for the driving issue... there is a guy i know whose mother is deaf and kids often ask him if she can drive... and he's got so sick of it that he just replies with, "What?! are you kidding?!?! she's DEAF!"

well, i have a few cents riding on USA not winning at all... unfortunately, i don't get to watch the matches :( i want to see japan play brasil :):):) that should be fun... gonna have to say i'm rooting for England, though :D

i, too, love the deaf voices. it's charming :) the deaf= dumb thing bothers me a lot :| along with hoh= old people.... in hearing aid ads, it's a bunch of old men :P i dont know if it fits in with stereotypes... but i hate it when i'm signing to somebody and somebody else comes up and...
