I'll be going off to college to be a teacher/interpreter this August and I can't wait! None of my family are deaf, I just took a liking to ASL when I saw an interpreter at my church one day. I've taken some classes but they didn't give any credit for it, it was just for "further education."...

I've broken almost all my toes, broke my foot in 3 spots, and I broke a bunch of ribs near my spine (that could have been really bad, I was lucky). I broke both my wrists and my right knee gets dislocated a lot. I think that's it.

I love Sudoku! I got a bunch of books of Sudoku for Christmas this year. It is a very good puzzle game...I didn't know that anyone else knew about that.

I live near Allentown which is only about an hour and a half from Philadelphia.

Awww, your pets are cute. I have a cat and 2 dogs. This year was my cat's first Christmas (he's 7 months old)...I was expecting him to knock over the tree haha. Thankfully he kept to just attacking the ornaments.

I would love to go out of state but I'm stuck here for two reasons...1) I'm running a business while I'm in college which requires me home every weekend and 2) it costs a lot more to go to an out-of-state college, which is money I don't have. :cry: I plan on taking both my majors at the same...

I didn't know that the ITP was suspended, that sucks. I wanted to major in 'terp and deaf ed at the same time. I have not heard of McDaniel College, where is it? I live in Pennsylvania and I can't go to any college that isn't in PA. Thanks for the info though.

I kind of live in the middle. It is a difference of 15 minutes between the commute to each college. I looked at CCP and they don't have deaf education which I really want to take. I was hoping that Bloomsburg was a college that is respectable.

I am planning on becoming a 'terp. I want to go to Bloomsburg University, my ASL instructor recommended it to me. What do you guys think of it?

For my New Year's resolution I want to do well in college and not slack off no matter how difficult it will be. I'll be going to Bloomsburg to get my degree in ASL interpreting and Early Childhood education for the deaf/hoh. I will be happy if I could get through college without slacking off...

Wow...everybody seems like they will have a wonderful Christmas. I cannot believe that it will be in 3 days! It is amazing how quickly this year has gone by. Hopefully it will be snow for Christmas, I think snow is pretty. Well before the people plow. Anyway, I wish everybody a very Happy...

I was wondering if anybody was planning on anything special for christmas. Like if you are going traveling to see family and friends somewhere or if you just plan on staying where you are. Happy Holidays!
