Nah, I wasn't offended, Freckles. I also go thru such sad experiences and I know your feelings. Life I think is not always being able to eliminate the things that suck but developing a quality of spirit by which we can face things that suck. Ekks. Cheer up dearie.:)

Ah, no God isn't being selective. He loves us, all every one of us. God cares deeply for us even if we dont believe in Him. He even sent His son Jesus Christ to live among us so we will have an idea and we can believe. Some of us are just separated by sin from Him but God loves us all anyways...

My hearing loss is also hereditary. I have an aunt from my father's side who is hard of hearing and two uncles from my mother's side who are severely deaf. I think it is not God's will that some of us are deaf or have disabilities we just live in a fallen world. I think God allowed it anyways...

It's rainy and windy today. There is even a typhoon named Paeng raging in the northern part of the Philippines. :)
