Are ghosts real?

:giggle: Don't try your daughter's barbie doll :giggle: to see if it works.

LOL,, nah I would never use my daughter's dolls lol.. my daughter is way too important to me since she is my sweet baby girl! I missed her being 1 weeks old baby ha. she now 9 months old active baby. AHhh ha. :giggle:

I'm not sure if you were brave or crazy for looking in that tunnel (haha!)...That is really scary. Glad you all are okay.

We didnt go in..no way! Just looked at it but refused to set foot in it. It was sooo dark. To this day, I still get occassional nightmares about it and it has been 6 years!

Deafbajagal...first of all, I am sorry about the loss of your child. Your daughter is probably ready to talk about her twin..I cant give u advice cuz I have never been in that situation myself.

As for ghosts...I cant say that I believe or dont believe in them cuz there are so many unexplained situations that occur so we never really know.

I was doing my student teaching internship at The Learning Center in Mass. I lived on campus in a house with 3 other interns. The house was like 200 years old and it had a basement with a boarded up tunnel. There was a history behind it but I cant remember. However, it was known that a ghost lived in the house. I laughed at it at first cuz I didnt believe in ghosts at that time. Well...on the weekends, the other hearing interns kept hearing banging coming from the basement at night. We would go downstairs to check it out and the washing machine would be on but no clothes in it and the stuff in it had been moved around. We asked each other if we had been down there and we all say no. So one night, we all stayed together and yes, they started hearing the banging again and good enough the washing machine had been turned on. Guess what? The board to the tunnel was taken down so we were able to see the tunnel. I was so spooken beyond belief. I thought for sure someone broke in using the tunnel but we searched around the house..nothing and the door was locked.

Since that discovery, the banging and the washing machine being turned on stopped. We will never know what happened..it was spooky and it changed my belief about ghosts...cant say "never".

That is interesting story, I would love to check it out. Is that called passage to the past's secrets past of the house? Some old places do have its passage and it was always seal and lock.

I have heard story about a pregnant servant buried in the fireplace and was sealed shut twice...later the skeletons were rediscovered many many years later.

I am not even brave enough to even go look, haha. I'm too chicken. I'm sure you have nightmares...I'm gonna have one tonight just thinking about all of you looking in that tunnel. Ha. Reminds me of that book, "It."

I was told the purpose of the tunnel but I forgot. I will have to ask around agian. The house was called "The Green House." It was right on campus of the school. :)

Ah yes, I have heard about that too. I also heard the story that goes way back I am not sure what year, there were too men who killed a young woman at age 19 somehow they performed an abortion she died. so they decided to buried her under the fireplace and some howe she was waking up and both men thought she died so they decied to kill her by throwing rock in her face and smashed her head. So her spirit never rested. So those two men somehow died in that house also. So they haunted the place. It was spooky.

Check it out?!!! Go ahead, honey. I'll stay right here if you don't mind. I'm not looking in tunnels or fireplaces or whatever. You can wear my new Ghostbuster shirt from Ebay (if I buy one), though, for your Ghost hunting trip. ;)

OMG. What a horrible story. I really hope it is not true...that is just too awful.

Oh you should check out " Lisa Williams " who is a medium and clairvoyant! she Great. You be stunned by her. I am hooked to her show.

Really? I will check out the Internet to see what I can find out. I'm a little leery about mediums - but I need to keep an open mind to solve my mystery, I guess. Thanks, GarnetTigerMom.

Yes!!! But they lock her up the chimmey alive and seal shut. And built a wall to cover the fireplace. Later they wondered why the fireplace was seal shut inside the wall. It was the owner who did this, he had an affair with the servant! Tsk...tsk...yes it was later haunted and his wife was left in alysum because of it.
