Does religion really matter?

oh please,, I am not pointing my fingers at you because you are "christian" I am sayin in general some christians don't always " see eyes to eyes" on religions issue who is right or wrong. I can understand some christians have feelings. But those who are not christians under different religions and beliefs have feelings too. But it seem to some people do have some trouble to accpet christians belief. I hve known many christians are not always " saints " as they say they are. I don't think anyone is 110% perfect saint. No one is. But I have heard people I known acting wayyyyy to christian to me by telling me you should not have kids before marriage! or You will go to hell for having sex before marriage,, those things do turns me off. I even know some christians I know in general telling me you are sinner ,, you are sinner for dating more than one man. That all really turn me off. I think a person should have the right to "choose" what religions they should be and if they are happy with it.
GTM, I really understanding how expression your heart spoke the truth that come from. I begging you, don't let cheri get you into drama with her. just ignore her overracted post, and move on PLEASE.. because she is not grow up nor lack of understanding this thread, she is being human imperfect, period. Jesus didnt want followers fight wih others nor defence them for him. Don't let christians make you take it out on them. igonre them. Please stick with your heart in you have the faith, respect, and patience. I am stand with your feet, I don't let someone push you off from our feet. ;) stick to Liebling's thread. please don't make her thread closed, because of that like other thread already closed for some dramas between christian and non christian.

 None of us on AD have said any of what you guys had experienced in real life, but you come on this forum and take it out on us. When you're talking about Christians, You're talking about All of us.

It only shows how bitter some of you people are for taking it out on All Christians.

I'm going to start using the ignored key.
Please forget their posts, Jesus doesnt make you overreact over their posts, don't make liebling's thread close. if you felt disagree with other's posts. ignore and leave their posts alone without drama or put your fignerpoints others. Jesus didnt send you here to fight with others to defend for him. i ask you, respect liebling's thread talking about "Does religion really matter?" people stick with.

Thank you!

??? Obviously you can 'tell' others how or what to do in specific threads, etc., however, the above quote you recently made is contradicting. It's one thing when you 'finger-pointed' to a certain member and telling another member to 'ignore' that member and then 'telling others' how or what to do--pls., don't 'tell' others what to do when you're not doing it yourself.

Also, speaking of 'dramas', it's members that come into a Christian thread and start belittling the beliefs of these Christians and for what they're sharing or discussing...simply put, it's the 'other' members who hold other beliefs, way of life that come across and start the drama with the Christians. It's time to cease and if any member don't like what Christians share or discussing within a thread, no need to jump on them, just move along and go to another thread that you're more comfortable with being in. Likewise, not expecting Christians to go into the threads of those 'others' that hold different beliefs or way of life and start belittling as well. Goes both ways--it's time for respect among one another despite the indifference with what is believed and way of life.

Otherwise, implementing actions for such trolling will result with a warning, possible banishment. Please...please, before 'hitting' that submit tab--think twice and reconsider whether the post ready for submittance is one that isn't belittling, 'telling others' (what to do, where to go, etc.), trolling and/or enticing others to get into trouble...if so, pls. refrain from posting.

OK. The Bible Scriptures say that the every word of the Bible is true and God inspired. So if you believe the Scriptures, you believe that every word in the Bible is from God, and is true. If you don't believe that, then you don't believe the Scriptures. It's very simple and clear.

II Timothy 3
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Job 32
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

So you don't believe the Scriptures.

It's very confusing because first you say you do believe the Scriptures then you say that you don't.

OK. If you believe Bible history is true, then you believe the Bible is all true. It's all one story.

If you don't believe the Bible is true, then you can't believe the history in it either. It's one complete story. It's either 100 percent true, or 100 percent false. It can't be both.

You can't pick and chose which parts of the Bible are true and which aren't. Either it is 100 percent true, or 100 percent false to you. It isn't even logical to say that you believe the part where Jesus was sentenced to death by crucifixion but you don't believe the rest of the story about what happened after.

I'm not forcing anyone to accept the Bible. I'm just pointing out the logic. God said that He gave all of the Bible, and that He can't lie. If you don't believe that, then you don't believe the Bible at all. It's all one story from one divine Author who can't lie. Take it or leave it.

If you leave it, then that's your choice. No one can force you to take it.

There is one problem, i do not follow your bible because some words were removed from your bible as they said same thing about my bible, add words. so who is right yours or mine? No such thing as a perfect bible.

Excuse me, This is not about taking it out on you and any other christian. This is just how I see it and how I meet people like that. It seems you take me way too serious on my view on that debate. But if you want to ingore me,, then that fine with me. I have no problem with that. By the way, Don't even dare try to imply that I said all christian. That is way off base.

Well said Roadrunner.

I disagree. I belive that God does watch over the people that does translate the Bible and make sure they are accurate as God wants it written.

However sometimes people's idea of how they want it written does get in the way. That is why I use several translations while reading. If there is a part that seems to say different things in one area. To me that throws up a flag and I know something is not quite right so I go back to orginal language and look at it word for word and use the dictionaary to see what the original language says. it is not needed to know the language to do that. It's very easy to do that while using a Bible program. It would show the orginal and translations side by side and then just click a word and it would show the meaning of that word. Can also be done using books, just easier to do with program.

Point is, if you really want to know the truth, there are always ways to confirm the truth.

Thank you! I'm glad there's someone on AD that speaks the truth. ;)

Cheri and Reba,

Remember let people choose Curses or Blessing in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 28:15-48.

Explain: people choose serve Lord or devil. I read it all this. I gave you 2 cents...smile!

God bless you keep Gospel to deaf world!

It is important count Jesus's blood wash your heart away sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I am wondering if you came to defend this for cheri, because cheri's sister angel who married you? Mmmm..mm..

Yes, My understanding is your point. I can see that some contrary way like I put my fingerpoint the person and not others. Mmmm..I knew that I should not...So GTM did save my neck, I took GTM's advice/feedback without her/his judgments. I felt that should be fair to save GTM's neck in some way like feedback/ advice. Why I can't pass my advice/feedback to GTM??

Yeah, I do that way, ( sorry off-topic: I did not jump into The Closet to bash and judge the gays and lesbian people's beliefs and lifestyles. I respect them for who they are what they are comforts themselves, and no need to post nasty words there in the Closet at all. there isn't interesting in me). that s simply respect theirs

Then why would they tell me about my bible and say mine is not 100 percent truth? I already know the Truth and if I need to know more then I simple ask Him.

Assume all you want, it has nothing to do with 'whom' it is, the point of the matter is simple, the thing is, your actions contradicts what you're up to--furthermore, don't continue to 'taunt' me or anyone else for that matter, even to a point of enticing 'others' to get into trouble as well as possibly trolling. Bottom line, continuing so...you'll be expecting a PM.

The choice is yours--choose wisely. ;)

Who would be that someone on AD speak the truth?

Anyone who is a someone that looks at both sides instead of one-side only, posts don't lie, it's there for everyone to see it's truth, and if one doesn't see the truth, doesn't tell the truth, the one who sees the truth tells the truth. ;)

It's not important, Let's get back on topic. ;)
