Where did AIDS come from?

It has nothing with African's cause, it start long time ago that start with one moron person that carry disease with scatched penis. That cause from lion or any stupid animal claw em to get him heck out of here and seem safe. Then he decide hire a whore for sex service. blah blah.

Of course, it's only my theory. :)
 
AIDS is a human disease. It came from Humans. HIV is a human disease.
Virus causes all of this.
 
No tell by hard facts how exactly it orginated for sure.

However, in my small world where I lived and knew who's ... so far few people got AIDS and 2 or 3 has died from it while the rest of them have HIV+. One may die soon.

And guess what, all of them were and are homosexuals. Concidence? Maybe. No one straight in my small world, who I knew of, got HIV+ or AIDS as of yet... rather interesting.

I recalled as a H.S. student back in early '80s it was a wide spreading scare.

Again, one never can tell or pointing. I haven't picked up new or updated information about them by the way.
 
I don't know if anyone has posted this yet but, i have heard that aids originated from a man commiting beastiality with a gorilla. .....its really disgusting.

Duh about that but who knows. Even I have heard a woman having a sex with a horse and even a dog. Yeah, it's very disgusting and sickening.
 
Why have I heard on the radio in the recent past, something about it coming from Australia from some wierd type of bird or something?

I wish had the info to follow this 'source' of information.
 
Monkeys have SIV, cats have FIV and humans have HIV. All are blood diseases and shared within species own group. Ive heard the story of monkeys passing HIV to man but not sure how monkey SIV change to HIV in man??

Primates are very similar to humans genetically and there are a number of diseases, both bacterial and viral, that can easily infect both humans and other primates.

As for how SIV changed to HIV, the answer would be evolution. A group of viruses find themselves in a new environment (a human body), the viruses that can infect the environment do so and the others die.
 
:topic: Thats true--seen in it in my own household when everyone was sick with a cold, even my kitty.

Dogs and cats can give us humans colds and we can give it back to them. A wonderful sharing of germs. :cool:

I personally thought it must be them that orginated AIDS at first but still think so at a high possibilty, only an best opinion. But there is no hard fact to point yet still.

However, If they said that it started with monkeys then humans so why did they then say that AIDS effect only humans within? If so, therefore it must have started within humans at first so?!

I see what you're saying, but think about this. Everyone on this forum (including you and me) have a number of virii and bacteria. They don't kill us, but they live in us. When we give them to other animals, these other animals get sick.

Think about it like this. You eat chocolate, and chocolate doesn't hurt you. But when you feed chocolate to your dog, your dog gets sick. Similar idea.

Monkeys can have HIV and stay alive. Humans get HIV and they're in trouble.

hmm... quite interesting comment.

I wonder how diffciult it must be for the scientists to find a cure for AIDS/HIV that took them so long - about 25 years by now.

Your bigotry doesn't upset me as much as it makes me pity you.

Just because gay men were initially among those most vulnerable to AIDS, does not mean that they caused it or are even really to blame for its spread.

To this day there is not adequate safe sex education for men who sleep with other men, and back in the 60s and 70s, it was thought that because pregnancy wasnt an issue, and schools never encouraged condom use, gay men didnt need to worry about condoms. Ironically it is WE THE GAYS who actually pushed for proper sex education, including for straight folks. We're still fighting for it because we live in such a conservative atmosphere where children don't learn about how to deal with sexuality and consent...
 
The women on Oprah said they got HIV from Men who are Bisexual.

And the Black men admit that they did have sex with other men.

I don't beleve AIDS were from Monkey.... if that is true, then why not kill all the monkeys
