What are you thinking about? Part VIII

I was watching channel 7 news and the CC were working fine then they did story on an elderly couple needing hearing aids and the CC stopped working and I miss
part of the story b/c of this ! I know the couple couldn't afford to buy hearing aids and that about it . I wanted to know if I could donate my old HA to elderly people too

@soulchill :ty: I wish the lines between people posts were easier to see I was trying to reply to you and clicked on mine by mistake and wasn't able to undo it.
I did ask an audi at the office I go to and she said my audi that own the office would bring my hearing aids to India . He does charity in India , I told the audi that was nice he did that but I want to give my hearing aids to someone in my country . The audi was surprise and I was bugged that she felt that I should give my hearing aids to my audi for 'his' charity and not mine.
 
I am so glad one of my neighbor is a police , he busted someone B&E at my condo tonight! I was taking my dog out and there a guy dress in dark clothes and I didn't see him at first, he was a policeman from my city and he me told my neighbor busted the guy that broke in 4 of the buildings at my condo . I was talking to the police and couldn't see his face b/c it was dark out and didn't what to shine my flashlight in his face , I told him I am HOH and he said he knew and that why he was shining his flashlight on his face. I told him "Thank you ". The police was going to each of our building and checking our bulkhead door and locking them , I thanks him for doing a good job and gave him a High five which he gave back. :) A neighbor of mine saw some guy walking in our driveway at 4:00PM wearing a backpack , she thought he was salesman and didn't think anything of the guy being in our yard ! The guy was a junkie from the next town over , he picked the wrong place to B&E , a police live here and I am so happy about this ! :)
 
^^ Most Apartment complexes and condo complexes have at least one police officer living there at a discounted rate so that they can have round the clock presence- they may not always be "on duty" but it's not an unusual thing.

Nice to have a police man living in your condo complex.

We just have a security guard no policeman .

Yes we're very lucky , he also one of the trustee of our condo .

I just found out my neighbor is a Sergeant , he didn't tell me that . Boy the guy really picked the wrong place to try and rob! I wonder if this will be on the news and newspaper .

OMG! We also need rain here so bad the famers in New Hampshire are having a real rough time . :(
 
Can't wait to finish work today. Going to the state fair after. It's one of the largest in the country. Can't tackle it all in one day. But I will come home about 10 pounds heavier with all the fried food I'm gonna eat! :)
 
The guy that B&E at my condo broke into the laundry rooms and had tools to take money from the washers and dryers . My neighbor that a police said the suspect had done this before but he got caught this time . I remember when we could leave our doors unlocked all day and not have to worry about be robbed or worst . :(

What about you and TCS? I have lost track of storm names but remember seeing reports about moving up the east coast.
