they are not same as robber. if you study criminology and law school, then they will tell you what are different between theif, robber, snatcher, looter, plundering , swindler, or burglary, murder. they are crime but different actions. you just cant say looter is murderer.

you are saying Looters worse than robbers? just cuz they just destroying property???? but Robber can beat, rape and threat with gun at owners so they not worst than looters? smh where did you get that fact???? man Robbers are worst i wanna to live but forget my property. i leave that to looter wanna destory my build but not my life. can you get it ?

I did study criminology in college.

Yes, there are different charges for different classifications of criminal actions. A looter can commit any number of additional crimes while looting. I didn't say that a looter is a murderer. However, a looter could additionally commit murder during a looting. A looter could also commit kidnapping, assault and battery, arson, rape and other crimes while in the act of looting.
 
Anyway...
In property before people, majority of people lose in the end.
killing on sight, over a tv. Or lamp, or couch, or safe, or window, or garden gnome, or toaster, or whatever,
Is
Rather a heartless system.

WOW! I can imagine if she didn't do it, she and her baby would be probably dead instead.

I did not mean to like your post and wish I could take it off...how do you think a looter and robber are different? Their actions are the same. A looter will do the same thing a robber will. Main difference looter takes advantage of a disaster while a robber targets a specific place or person....yeah sometimes they by opportunity to...but these two do same thing. But looter cause more damage. Robber wants to get in and out as quick as possible.

that intruders or burglary for home ...... not looter .... they dont do home. they do Commerical buildings.

robber want to get in and out quick by threat that scare you off but looter can get in and out without threat .. just fooling around tear thing or steal around building

To loot means to steal or plunder. Looting is not just destroying property. It's stealing that can include the destruction of property. What makes it morally worse is that it usually occurs when the community and store owners have already taken a loss due to the natural disaster. What little is left is then taken or destroyed by looters. The owners are hit while they're down. That's low.

Looters can also beat, rape and threaten with guns. What makes you think they can't?

you looter could commit that murderer not looter..... you say looter could commit kidnapping assault and battery, arson, rape and other crime while in acting looting. that's kidnapper, assaulter, battery, arson, rapist and other crime while in the act of looting but still it not looter.

You are right. Robbers and looters are not the same.

As for the title in this thread, I would say no because most of the businesses have insurances to cover the stolen items and pay for damages.

But you do not know what they are what they want or what they will do until they do it....
Should one just wait to be raped, beat, or murdered before saying oooh shoot I should have popped a cap in his butt before he did this?
 
I wouldnt want killing someone over a tv, garden gnome, playstation, i pad, on my conscience.....
