What are you doing right now? Part II

I am browsing around here, and getting to know my new phone. I must say though-- the bigger ZTE phone I got does make a nice change from the old one I had before, despite not having ntouch mobile on it, but I'll be fine with ntouch PC on my HP laptop for the time being.

Watching some weird shows on tv, nothing good on this late. Icing down both my knees and ankles, a little sore after all that walking. Hope they're not to sore tomorrow so I can get more walking in. This is the first day I did not beat yesterdays score on my fitbit gadget and that is bothering me. Still walked almost 2 miles though. Tomorrow I need to make up for it. Maybe go to the mall early and walk, it's a huge mall so I might be able to get a few miles in if I work hard at it. If I have energy left, maybe pick up a few gifts too. Super mom is on her way. My goal is to hit 10,000 steps in one day next week. My highest so far has been 7,776 so I'm getting there.

You need a new living situation. There is an awful lot of drama around where you're living and how things are dealt with. Broken pipes, cockroaches, fines, etc. why did you not do more research into this place before moving there? This is starting to become almost unbelievable. Kind of starting to feel like the boy who cried wolf story.

Well, with what happened, and me having to move there (I did ask for an extension of the moving deadline, and was denied), but we ARE working on finding a new place for me to live, especially if they don't comply with the alarm requirements. That alone is reason enough to break the lease early. However, they DID exterminate my apartment yesterday, and guess what? It wasn't effective, as I saw another cockroach this morning, and I may have to start using legal maneuvers to get myself into a better situation.

Okay, I just filed a formal complaint with the City on the bug issue, and hopefully that'll get something going.

How many apartments are in the building or house? The whole place has to exterminated to get rid of cockroaches , and you need open every box or drawers you have and clean them out ,there could babies roaches hiding in them. I was helping my sister moved out an apartment b/c in was infected with roaches , we found a box of wooden matches and opened the box to see how many matches were left , the box was stuffed with roaches ! They'll live in any and everything the stove too. :barf: to roaches

Eight floors, 22-24 apartments on each floor, so about.... 200-something. I also have been advised to call the City directly about the bug problem, and I intend to do that as soon as I can do so. This problem is a very serious one, and I have a hunch there may be others I don't know about-- yet.

Cockroaches do not stay on one floor they can get into the walls and they love warn places ,so I bet there are a lot around the stove and in the kitchen . The landlord was trying to get you off his back by spraying your apartment. Do you know how many buildings he owns , he sound like a thug . You should go to the city hall and bring some of the landlord pets with you in a glass jar.

Actually, the city wants documented proof, just like Reba suggested, and that I have enough of with several photos, and mulitple ankle bites. Trust me-- I have more than enough of it.

Headed home now..... and getting a jump start on beating Friday Rush Hour.

And that is also why I said you do research on the landlord to see if he owns other buildings and if there been housing codes violated . I really feel you should spend some time on line google the landlord name and see what come up.

Already did. I found a bunch of them. If I could show ADers, I would, but not without revealing my exact location. I did take a screenshot with my new phone, but can't use it without revealing where I am.

Ankle bites seem more like fleas to me. You might have multiple bug problems.

Keep all this research in mind when you start looking for a new place. Next time you'll know what questions to ask before deciding on a place.

I'm not sure. However, the bedbugs are NOT under my bed, as I checked earlier today when I got back here. Thus, the problematic area is my bathroom, and I have no idea why. They did, however, put down a sticky bug trap (Like that'll do any good), but my staff are suggesting actual bug poison, and if I get that, then I can legally dock the cost of that from next month's rent.

I was just watching the fox run across my yard as I was taking my dog out. Now I know why Marty been wanting me to carry him back to house again. Nothing can be done about the fox unless he is showing signs of having rabies . I am really worried about my dog getting attacked by a fox or coyote . Gee thanks for all the concerned about my dog and me getting attacked by a wild animal

ankle bites sounds like bed bugs to me...

That's what we think, too.

I had bed bugs in my home for a while and I would wake up with bites on my ankles, hands, and wrists but never on my legs, arms or any other parts of my body which was strange.

Are they shaped like a circle that is kinda pinkish red with a white middle? Do they itch like crazy?

Yup. Bedbug bites all right. There are five on my left ankle, and only my left ankle, as my right one doesn't have any, and that's kinda odd. And for itching like crazy, yes, they did, but they have since healed, but are still very visible, though.

WDYS, for heaven sake, be careful of those wild animals, be ready to run! Just scream, and I'll come down and carry you while you carry Marty.
